Speccy thread, who else is using a mini itx case/ This is in a Thermaltake Core V1. I'm going to add another 4gb of ram and use this for light gaming and as a htpc.

user with $3000 PC in da thread!

more than enough for my use, but will eventually buy 2x16GB kit & Ryzen 7 2700/3700 or whatever the zen2/3 is called, and soon will buy a better graphics card

Replaced the HDD with a Samsung 850 Evo 120GB, but didn't take the time to install speccy yet.

That's cute.

>tfw spent $400 on pc

That's a totally fine machine, especially for that good price. I wouldn't mind using it at all.

I love it, people can hate and say >AMD, but it beats the shit out of my old system.

Also helps I had a good enough gpu and 1tb drive on hand to keep the price down.

$3000 PC with a $5 monitor

u started mining burst yet?

...

spent less that 300 bucks

why do you keep reposting those same screenshots every single fucking day
do you really need your ego stroked that much you attention whore?

This is the sorta thing I'd want, but 5650's for those extra 2 cores per processor.
How does it perform on something like CB15?

...

This is what shit posters do.

>Maximus Formula Socket 775 board
Dude, nice.

Older budget build but still does what I need

You need a dedicated gpu

Ya seems pretty good

Got one now actually, missed and posted the older pic.

it preformes really well, can playy everythin on ultra, it is only full size atx and it is pretty quet.
i really dont think you need those 4 more cores cuz it is kind op pointless, but go for it, it is sheap and preformes like a boss.
sold my old 6600k rig and got this, best decision yet.

That's pretty strong, my FX8350 4.2 can barely beat an i7 3770 non K, and those X550s cost nothing.

exactly, but before i built this rig i baught an hp z600, if you go that route it is much cheaper. but a lot fucking hotter

About a month ago I posted the speccy for a PC I built entirely out of parts from the trash, and someone replied saying I should get a GeForce 8 series or something to make it perfect but I insist on keeping it genuine, meaning only parts from the garbage. A couple days ago I ended up finding a 7300LE in the garbage so I installed it and the system runs like a dream for 2000-2007 gaming now.

GPU heatsink was fucked up so I ended up putting a chipset heatsink from an old Compaq pre-built motherboard on it and stuck a fan on it. Temps are pretty good, highest I ever got was 52º after playing about 3 hours straight of San Andreas. Also I only have 2.5GBs of RAM, for some reason Speccy shows 3.

Meh, undecided.

Wonder what a Palit Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 TI at 125 € would do to it ...

>Fermi
Wew anything would do.

What cpu cooler do you use for your itx case?

first week with this micro :)

4.4GHZ OC
43 Degrees C

Anyone got any overclocked i3's to show off? Considering cheaping out and getting a 6100 for my Z170 board (got it for $55 on sale (including shipping)), because nobody in my area knows anything about technology so I can't try resell it for a profit on craigslist.

if your gonna bother overclocking it doesn't make much sense to get at least an i5

to not get at least an i5*

Well I don't really use the computer for much more than some basic >gaymes and watching >jewtube, and I just wanted something cheap.
I'm mainly just waiting for sales/clearances so I can snatch one up.

that's cool dude

sounds interesting.
I never really thought about that.. I have lot of parts that have been thrown away (the best parts i've ever found would be i3-3220, FX5200 and 4GB stick of DDR3 ram) but finding a good GPU and PSU is pretty hard.

I might borrow your idea and change it a little bit.
I'd like to build a pc from parts that i've got for free.
I still need a MB, HDD and a GPU.
So far i've got an i5-3340, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500W PSU for free.
I don't want garbage parts as they were not given to me for free.

Currently using a Thermaltake - Gravity i2 that I got for cheap at frys, This case has pretty good airflow, I switched one of the side panels so the the window is on the side and air vents are on the top where the CPU exhausts.

sup

in-win 301 case
very wierd airflow thing in this case, but it works suprisingly good with h100i cooler

I hope Zen 2 makes upgrading finally worthwhile.

doubht it, upgraded from 2500k to 1700x, spent ~1100$ with no gpu upgrade, and id lie if id say i feel a difference
