Why does this thing even exist? The AX1500i beats it in nearly every category at less than half the price.

Some people like the hand crafted and Japanese made thing

probably higher quality device and not chinkshit also real people built it and not some robot

Cover is folded 1000 times m9, and it is quenched with the sweat of 100 underage girls pantsu.

Even if it last longer than the AX1500i, you could just buy 2 of them and pocket the extra $140

this post make me sad again. two days ago the psu of my pentium 4 pc died, and i had to cannibalize my pentium III

>those connectors

...

If you have to ask you don't need it

But it's just about the best PSU ever made
jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=508

>"Is this the best performing unit on the market? No."

The AX1500i has better regulation, efficiency, and wattage. The only pros it has is a smaller inrush current, longer warranty, and longer hold on time. Really doesn't warrant 2x+ the price.

Pure Jap Caps folded 1000 times cannot be beat

They all use Japanese caps

Looks more like the transformer is folded 1000 times.

Can you call something coiled, folded?

What the fugg. Is this real? Are people really like this retarded?

also
>gaming rig

People sort by price and buy the most expensive thing that pops up.

let me put it this way
masterwat uses rubycon capacitors
corsair uses jamicon

What if you coil it and then fold it?

1000w power supplies are being bought up by miners too.

u could buy 2 corsair 1500 watt psus just incase one fails for the price of one of the corsair ones

>corsair uses jamicon

"Speaking of capacitors, the primaries are Nippon Chemi-Con. Secondary electrolytics are Chemi-Con, Rubycon, and Nichicon."

and what, risk the housefire?

>Why does this thing even exist?
you seem to be forgetting that computers are used for more than just video games

>this entire post
1. This is a consumer part in a consumer form factor with consumer-grade warranty and support
2. It's LITERALLY IN THEIR "MAKER" LINE OF GAMING BRANDED COMPONENTS
3. THE FUCKING OP IS ASKING WHY IT COSTS MORE THAN AN IDENTICALLY SPEC'D UNIT WHEN BOTH ARE GAMER SHIT, NOBODY BUT YOU IS SPERGING ABOUT TRYING TO SHOVE A 1200000 WATT GAMER PSU INTO A BLADE SERVER
Holy fuck this is probably bait but I bit hard

Superior Japanese technology folded 1000 times

The only reason the Japs folded it 1000 times was that their steel refining was garbage and full of impurities

>Why does this thing even exist?
You're basically paying for the over-engineered and extremely highly binned, hand-picked super-premium quality Japanese components. These aren't just your typical "Top tier Japanese caps", but the most best OUT of those said Japanese caps, essentially the very tip of the mount Olympus, the absolute alpha inside the circle of the best components you could ever get on this planet. That's why CoolMaster prices them like this. These are LITERAL premium all the way. You p[ay for advertisement, sure, but most chunk of that price comes from sheer quality of the components and the build.

>Why does this thing even exist?
Because they can. Its purpose is mainly to show off the engineering work put into it.

It's a PSU for rich fags, it's built like a tank literally.

>engineering work
>2.3 times the price of the competition
>inferior performance

Yeah, no. All they're doing is exploiting weeaboos and they didn't even put an anime girl on it or the box.

youtube.com/watch?v=YqifmrSuYgQ

Wait, it doesn't even have power monitoring?

Wouldnt it be better to sort from low price to high and then pay someone to scroll/navigate all the way to the end.

>implying weebs can afford it
All they're doing is showing off what they can do. Sure, there are higher wattage PSUs on the market, but that's not what it's about. It's about the efficiency and the quality of the components inside.
It's a perfect example of a product made with no other purpose than to show off, since it doesn't appeal to any market. There's no point in having a PSU that surpasses the 80+ Titanium rating, and there's no sane reason to buy the thing. Of course CoolerMaster knows this, and they probably haven't even sold 10 of them worldwide. But it makes people talk about them.

>>implying weebs can afford it

Check the prices on animu stuff. It's a hobby for the rich that realize 3D will only steal half their stuff in the end.

Weebs can't afford it because they waste their money on figurines and instant noodles, dumbass.

Not prime and a ridiculous price? Is this actually being sold by Amazon? You do know that third party resellers show up in standard search right?

That's MSRP, user.

Which is why they should have sold a limited edition version with power supply tan included.

aww that's so sweet

>Operate completely silently up to 600W
That sounds like a pretty good feature for someone trying to build a completely silent High end PC.

>fan lass
Someone tell them they made a mistake

Or you can.. move your pc to the other room?

Why, because heat kills?

Because it's fanless you silly banana!

WHITE PIGGU GO HOME

Man. That's some efficient titanium.

>Made in Japan

>nips
>chinks

>It doesn't have a built in fleshlight

I'm disappointed japan.

That's an exceedingly high energy conversion efficiency. It would never pay for the extra cost in terms of electricity saved. However, I'm sure you can think of situations that need that sort of energy efficiency.

Not really. The AX1500i and EVGA T2 both have better efficiency under half the price.

>The AX1500i beats it in nearly every category at less than half the price.
>My power supply can beat up your power supply

I made specifically made this picture for this thread and nobody cares huh?
So rude

I get no respect in this house

>extremely highly binned, hand-picked super-premium quality Japanese components
You do realize this doesnt exist. Go on Mouser or DigiKey and check for yourself.

Overpriced, overengineered PSU.

1KW+ PSU have no business in a non-enterprise system.

Customer-tier PCs shouldn't need anything more than a 750W-850W PSU.

here's your recognition

Thank you

But they are doing it wrong.

Then how am I going to power my OC'ed Threadripper + Vega 64 x2 system?

>he doesn't mine

It's very high end electrical components inside. Some inductors can cost a lot.
