Most people still use 1080p which a gtx 1060 handles with ease. Even people running 1440p only need a 1070.

Less than 1% of gamers use 4k. Even so, a 1080ti easily handles it.

Really anything aside from the 1080ti is a total piece of shit right now and even that is slower than it should be with pascal anti-overclocking fuckery.
Shit like the 1080 is midrange as fuck but there is no competition. As soon as nvidia was able to btfo amd with tiny ass pieces of silicon and cheap memory everything went to shit. Hold on to whatever you have until the gpu market returns to normalcy.
