Decide to try ubuntu dual boot

>Take like 2 hours to fix GRUB not wanting to install
>Finally done, other system not in GRUB, fix it after 30 min
>Mouse clicks but wont move, had to get an old shitty mouse that worked
>Logitech g30 headphones not detected, only speakers

If you can't even get Ubuntu to work than GNU/Linux may not be for you, fa.m

Kudos for trying, though.

Cool blog you retard

>falling for Linux meme
Jesus, why not buy a Thinkpad and try to install Gentoo on it? Learn C while you're at it and listen your shitty music on a portable music player with Sennheiser headphones?

Too far, wanted to try ubuntu cause its diffrent and comfy, but its just terrible

Admit it. You spend more time on that image you posted than solving any issue, didn't you?

Just run it in a VM, or from a live usb if you want to try it out.

>comfy
>terrible

Plz pick one.

Not that autistic sorry

Looked comfy, but its terrible, no need to pick one

I'm a Linux user. What's GRUB and why would you install it? What device are you using for Ubuntu not to install and work with every hardware you have?
If you have safeboot enabled it will tell you that it can't install 3rd party drivers which is probably what's causing the issue. Disable it in BIOS.

>I'm a Linux user. What's GRUB and why would you install it?

it took hours because you dont understand how grub works. it would take seconds if you knew.

GRUB is a bootloader so i can boot into ubuntu or win10, im using a fairly strong PC, safeboot is off

In his defense, GRUB is pretty common on PC but not embedded devices were the majority of GNU/Linux distros reside.

I honestly don't know what it is and I've been using Linux for years. It has something to do with booting your OS is all I know, but I've never interacted with it manually.

The current state of GNU/Linux distribution actually allows this. Installing and using GNU/Linux doesn't require you to be an expert anymore.

>implying having to be an expert to run it is a good thing

>own a thinkpad
>use void
>learning python
>have Sennheisers
My life is pretty comfy.

It just means that stupid people are going to say stupid things more often when they can't make it work.

No I actually celebrated the fact that non-knowledgeable people can use it.

Sorry for the confusion.

works on my machineā„¢

Fucking brainlets

>Fell for Arch meme.
>Painstakingly install it and get it to work on my machine.
>Pretty fast and comfy, I'm a l33t hax0r now.
>Still dump it and go back to 7.

I just want to play vidya and watch shit.

install gentoo

yes. they should change back to lilo so it would be even harder to use for disgusting normies.

you have to change the source via audio settings

>wanted to install Ubuntu GNU/Linux on my laptop
>put in disk
>choose 'install onto hard drive'
>wipe drive
>partition
>next, next, next
>wait for things to download
>reboot
>it works
OP is just retarded
