It actually makes sense if you use your chair on hardwood floors.

It avoids scratches.

OP raises a fair point.

oh shit true

my chair used to be on tile and it was faded and worn down where i sat

yeah, and it makes it impossible to sit in a single spot as your chair will constantly roll around.

It also feels smooth as hell moving around

because I'm too fat

That's just a matter of friction

thank you, captain obvious

Just tighten them up enough to prevent them from moving when you don't want them to.

But OP, i have. Steelcase leap v1 completely refurbished an reupholstered that i bought from a child psychologist moving to seattle. Immediately went on amazon and bought some black ones for like 20 bucks.

Will these help me?

YES.

Get large diameter ones.

This. I always end up in the most fucking awkward conditions on my rolling chair.

Because removing the original ones almost always breaks the plastic wheel holder.

looks comfy user

>Lean on one side
>Wheel facing sideways tips over
>Flat on your face
They are made with two wheels per caster for a reason you know.

you should try to stop being fat then

you have literally no idea what you're talking about.

That looks painful if you accidentally run over your foot.

you're a big guy

Rolling chairs are creations straight out of satan's satanic asshole.

pic related + rubber matt is all you need desu

already did, replaced all the shitty castors now i slide over the floor in style

Do you have a link? I want to get some for my leap.

can i add them to my chair?

I have casters with rubber wheels.

they seem to have a lot more colors to choose from since last time. i got the all black 3 inch ones.

I bought two sets of those wheels for mine and my dads office chairs. they are nice

They ARE NOT roller blade wheels though, don't be fooled. they're not even close

I like them especially on carpet, they can still roll pretty well even on my thick shaggy carpet

much appreciated user. Do they make your chair any higher than stock? I wouldn't mind a little extra height since my desk is tall.

its not
what actually is painful is if you step on the the bracket that holds the wheel in place, or stub your toe into it. That black piece of steel that the wheel mounts to is fucking the bane of my existence, absolutely the worst part of roller blade wheels on an office chair it hurts so fucking much to snag that part with your foot

I've swapped three chairs castors and haven't broken a single castor mount. all cheapo office chairs too

buyer beware ikea chairs use a different size castor than the run of the mill office chair

yes they do
my chair sat about 1.5 inches higher on roller blade wheels than on stock plastic castors

Well I'm sold. I spend enough time in this damn chair, might as well improve it.

slight bit. nothing crazy.

well arent we king nigger

You should try to stop being a fucking retard.

Where to buy this? Is this america only? Custom made?

Steelcase leap plus

Not joking. It's a leap for fat people

Cost?

Like 1k-1.5k. not a meme

Because my chair already has fucking expensive wheels. They are $620 a pair.

>All the features and benefits of the best selling Leap chair supporting individuals up to 500 lbs.
>500 lbs

How much can the doubled up version support?

softer rubber has more friction with the ground than hard plastic

and the hard plastic also scratches your floor to shit

except this shit has BALL BEARINGS which means it'll roll like crazy.

Fuck, so it's because of the chair. Never thought about it, but it seems so obvious now

Fucking cripple

May as well get a great big Serta Layers chair. I snagged one a few years back on Black Friday for like $200 and it supports 400 or 450 lb. Comfy, too.

>find comfy position to sit in
>chair decides to move an inch

NOT EVEN ONCE.

Are you 400 lbs?

Crip get out
This board is blood territory.

...

>nigahiga
Are you 12?

>***OPTIMIZED***
Is that supposed to be a commentiquette joke?
