Question answered elsewhere, locking this thread
>critiques python code instead of answering question
I hate pythonfags so much.
I posted in askUbuntu once, some feminist mixed bitch appeared and locked my thread. She told me the same as OP.
>I have a problem can you please solve it [SOLVED]
>Speculative answers
>OP: I found the solution, thanks for the help anyway!
>doesn't explain solution
>thread locked
>search for hours trying to find solution to problem
>ask question
>a bit of back and forth
>OH WELL ACTUALLY IT'S [complex technical term I've never heard of], THIS IS A DUPE [link]
>million downvotes instantly after
>locked
t-thanks
>i'll pm you the solution ;)

>Hi I have a problem [explains problem pertaining to distro] [adds additional system info], any ideas?
>Well you see *pushes up glasses* that's a user error heh heh works on my machine heh heh
I'm honestly amazed that people can make themselves feel superior to others over a distro choice. It's phenomenal.
>im having [this problem] on [this OS]
>don't use [that OS] then
>Hi, it seems you posted this thread in the wrong section. Please read our rules before making a post in the forums.

What kind of shitty, obscure forums are you guys using?
>hey, i want to know how to do [x] in [y] system, can anyone help out?
>Excuse me, why are you trying to do [x]? What would you ever need to do that for? I suggest you not do that and find a different way to accomplish whatever task you're at.
>Excuse me, why are you using [y] system? It's old and worthless, you'd have an easier time using this, this, or this. I suggest you not do [x] yet and change systems first.
the ones that pop up on google when your arch installation breaks

First half are stackexchange faggots, second half are any other linux / hardware manufacturer forums
>a thread about a certain problem
>more than half of the comments are "i have the same problem lol"

>PM'd you the fix :D

Spot on, I'm currently trying to fix problems in arch and this shit keeps happening to me.
this is solid advice, grab whatever you can buy and it's easier to learn.
