No you shit, they're ridiculously fun. Just bear in mind that the games themselves are pricey on top of the rig itself and square footage needed. If you can afford it, well worth the cost. Very enjoyable experience imo, but demo it first if you can. Some people dont feel the draw quite as much as others

If you just want porn go buy a set of goggles for your phone except I hope your phone has removeable storage because it'll fill up fast. Otherwise what with the gpu market being as fucked up as it is you're looking at spending a lot more than just a headset.
If you are not at home to make your own VR room with a wheel, hotas, space for room scale, eventual omnidirectional treadmill just settle for the growing library of porn and let the technology mature a bit

My only worry is having to replace my flat 3in1 cable, don't know if they are still selling that crummy all in one cable that kinks on the inside and gets damaged as you straighten it over time.
I take good care of my HMD, by the time I need to replace that cable there would be more options on the market compatible with the lighthouse tracking system.
