>kubuntu
install gentoo you fucking casual
>Buying a chinkpad because of Sup Forums
Also install gentoo
Kubuntu is the shittiest implementation of KDE Plasma I've seen. I don't know how they managed to make it so heavy and buggy
Shit was like 50€
Also I needed a laptop anyway
Kubuntu is so bad the people who made KDE took Ubuntu and made their own distro.
These.
If you want KDE use openSUSE, Neon, or Manjaro
Words cannot express how many times I've read this same exact post on here.
The post numbers might be different but the comment and even the name are always the same.
Is this some dumb meme or what? Maybe I missed it.
Stop smoking weed, David.
Assorted dragon dildos
Install Gentoo
Are you a trap too?
No
become a trap.

Use Neon, openSUSE or Mageia if you want KDE
Kubuntu is fucking garbage
newfag itt, can someone explain me how thinkpad is superior to other laptops?
>kubuntu
eeeewwww
>kubuntu
Install KDE Neon.
I'm wearing an F91W right now and I have a T420 with a Fedora / Windows 10 LTSB dual boot. I also have a Libreboot X60 with Gentoo + i3wm. I've ascended beyond Sup Forums. I am now proto-Sup Forums.
Stallman doesn't endorse gentoo though.
>not getting a superior T500 which is libreboot compatible
wew lad
Why not buy a brand new laptop with a Celeron processor, 4 gigs of RAM, a 512 GB of RAM and two years of warranty and put Loonix on it so that it runs smoothly for the same price ?
>pic related, my 1 year old laptop
huh?
>4 gigs of RAM
>512 gigs of RAM.
Dafuq dud
Jesus Christ, HOW much RAM?
I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called Linux distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux!
wearing a dbc-32 with two thinkpad
>4 gigs of 512 gb
2048 exabytes
Mostly memes. Thinkpads are durable af, you would need to commit a fucking Sup Forumsenocide with it to break one. Superior keyboard, replacement parts are everywhere and nobody is gonna steal one.
One could argue that they're old, but intel cpu developement has slowed down so much the only difference is battery life, and since IBM Thinkpads never tried to be thin, it's a non issue.
They are hands down the best budget laptops.
Install Debian. Debian is the rule-2-abiding man's distro.
GB of RAM
and this is what it means to ascend beyond a super saiyan
thanks, i get it now
Nice 1366x768 15.6" TN panel, faggot.
my t420 got stolen at a camp site
Did you libreboot?
>kubuntu
not
>xubuntu
you done fucked up
turn up the brightness unless you enjoy pwm
>deadlifting 2000 pounds
Kubuntu is just Ubuntu with Plasma but when KDE needed exactly that, they created their own Ubuntu with Plasma because Kubuntu is really that shitty.
>kubuntu
shouldlve installed kde neon
