>GEOMAGNETIC STORM UPDATE: Earth's magnetic field is recovering from a jarring CME impact during the late hours of Sept. 7th (23:00 UT). First contact with the CME produced a severe G4-class geomagnetic storm

>Periods of mild to strong geomagnetic storming are likely on Sept. 8th and 9th.

Should I hide my my hdds and electronics in a box coated with aluminium foil?

literally shaking rn

So thats why the internet kept going out earlier today

no, these storms only affect things that have a scale of hundreds of miles

Fuck off Sun, loading was so fucking slow last night and I couldn't figure out why

t.sol

>xDSL de-syncing
>electronics coil whining more than usual

I knew something wasn't quite right

Is this why I woke up with a headache? Fuck me if I missed aurora, hiding behind closed curtains all night. It was raining non-stop though...

>Is this why I woke up with a headache?
no christina, you dont have a 6th sense for electromagnetism. go back to your gluten free cookies and diet water

>hurricanes, floods, destabilization of geopolitics, pollution, climate change
i sleep
>your games and anime are at risk from a magnetic storm
REAL SHIT

kinda jelly of americucks who get to see the lights

News promise it to be visible in Moscow during the night from 9th to 10th

>tfw southern europe

Grab a ticket and travel North out of blue! It's weekend anyway.

>tfw poor

That's still a very small chance.

>fuck off Sun

It keeps you alive

all the more reason it should die

idk if it'll affect the internet

now, being a poorfag, I use terrestrial TV, and I had terrible reception last night. a lot of stations were simply dead, and many unwatchable. geomagnetic storms do affect radio waves (this includes UHF and VHF)

it's really weird though, how in a nearly sunspot-free year, we suddenly have an X9 solar flare, the biggest since 2006. it's also weird how it happened just before the 8.0 quake in mexico. dunno if there's any relationship between geomagnetism and tectonics.

>tfw red area

Like the power lines that connect to your house.

That shit actually can affect some people.
Ive noticed unregulated chink shit wifi transceivers fuck with me a bit. My mind gets cloudy as fuck. I was sitting here in a room with two real routers and two chink shit wifi modules running, I had forgotten about them and my mind just got cloudier and cloudier. I was starting to think I had developed diabetes or some shit and then i remembered the chink shit stuff running. When I turned it all off my mind cleared up within a couple minutes.

the only american thing listed is alaska. The area listed as probably being able to see is almost entirely uninhabited. The only people that live there are mostly indigenous people and oddball whites and they are all use to seeing this kind of shit.

kys retard

had spikes in the 4+V/km here. Close to the 1 in 100 year estimates for the region.
> Nothing bad happened. Takes triple that for blackouts to occur where I live.
source: I do NERC TPL-007 compliance studies.

>america is only the united states

What does CME stand for here?

>implying any other country in america matters

Coronal Mass Ejection.

Basically that means the sun shat a fuckload of charged particles at us.

Oh ok, I think I've heard that term before but it did not come to mind. Thanks.

>there is only one america

If I had issues with my welder having drops in power, could this be the issue?

>not living on a faraday cage already
Enjoy your botnet, normie

Beware that wearing a foil kippah won't act as a shield but will concentrate the power inside your head like a dish. Including all mind-controlling broadcasts.

For this to work you'll have to play tinfoil mummy.

take pics Sven

>Three strong hurricanes
>X9 flare
>8.0 quake off the Mexican coast
All that's missing is Yellowstone popping it's cork and the sky burning and Sup Forums will have the very last Told ya so! moment before we all die.

No they don't.

>atodaso
fix'd.

This is you, right?

When are we moving to Alpha Centari again?
