Hibiki a great

Idol trash here.
What's your setup like, user?
Hibiki a cute. A cute!!
(voiced by yuuki aoi, btw. Look into the symphogear cast; It's very good)
But... Shirabe a best. A best!!

youtube.com/watch?v=jebZHLcFXBk

What is the second best headphone behind the HD600?

I prefer Chris, personally. Just the right balance of edgy and cute.

my.mixtape.moe/aownvj.ogg

Shirabe just happens to be targeted at my preferences. It was instant love.

pic+timestamp.

What should I listen to on my new HD 600s?

I'm curious though, wouldn't an umifag prefer Tsubasa of all the geahs? What made you pick shirabe over tsubasa?

Your favorite album, obviously.
>but I asked because I want to expand my musical horizons
Frank Zappa's Hot Rats.

I do like tsubasa a lot of course. And she was my favorite before shirabe was a thing.
Idk. Maybe I like her darker hair. Maybe her personality. Maybe the seiyuu (same as ayase eli, yoshino nanjo, fripSide). Maybe the twintails. Maybe I'm a rorikon.

What are those on-ear headphones that clip over your ears? Alternatively, is there a name for that style design? I want to get a pair that have no head band but aren't in-ear either.

Koss KSC-75

>What's your setup like, user?
I got an ma900 for $150 earlier this week, been listening to it. I love them, fuck. epitome of comfy. comfy build comfy signature, soundstage is pretty big yet doesn't sound artificial

>fellow MA900bro
Mah nigga.

>Budget
Any, but not extremely high.
>Type of headphone
Not specifically full ear, WIRELESS
>Open or closed
Closed
>Comfort level
P. comfy
>Sound signature
Whatever, this is bs, here come my (You)s.

Why the heck would you like to organize your /r/ as this?
I want comfy wireless headphones, that's it.

they are going to get more headtime than my lcd-2 just because of comfort and soundstage, that's an issue. I might have to think about selling my lcd-2 and upgrade it to something.

There is no better headphone for EQ.

HD569, HD380 Pro.

Psshhh, just get some of these. Anything more than $13 wireless earbuds are retarded placebo anyways.

Fugly and too memetic.
wtf are these even.

Go on AliExpress and search wireless earbuds, sort low to high. Just get one of those, trust me, they're the best wireless has to offer.

I can't wear earbuds. They harm ears (usual headphones sure do too).
Believe me not, I am conductor and organ player, all the shit you discuss is just inane (sorry). I value comfort most, so I don't want my phones to be either very heavy or covering ears in unnatural manner (all the stuff that has "holes" in cups is unnatural).

Since this is mostly a visual thing than anything, looking through online lists rn, just found Harman/Kardon Soho Wireless appealing, so could you tell me anything of them?

pls no bully

One of my very normie friends quite liked hanaji, it's too catchy.

Has the MDR-V6 (or 7506) been surpassed by Sony?

DT-770s.

What figure is that?

Why have more than one headphones? You only have 2 ears

Who multi-channel music here?
my.mixtape.moe/tbcftg.ogg

I'm weak, that's why.
So, at times I spend more money than I need to.

>What figure is that?
tsutsukakushi tsukushi.
She was cheap @ mandarake. I adopted her.

cd900st are awesome, but japan only.
You might have some luck and find imported ones.

Why do IEMs sound like shit?

Sale them

I'd do it if I was desperate for money.
In short, it's not happening.

For some reason my DT770 is starting to give me headaches (literally) while wearing for ~6 hours, i don't think this happened when i first got it. Is there anything i can do about this?

a dt770 would give me headaches too if I had to listen to it for that long

Why are they so perefct?

Get open headphones. HD600 is suggested. HD579 if poorfag.

Actually curious, because I've never seen any mention to them, but what does Sup Forums think of the HE One Headphones by status audio? No bully plz.

I'm having white noise/static from the back of the PC yet no problem on the front panel but the audio quality is worse.
Any solutions?

Get an external amp+dac.

Schiit Fulla 2.

I will need something powerful then that I think since I plan on getting a 2.1.

Getting a what?

speakers and a sub.

Why are DT 990 Pro so perfect?

You're not going to power these from a computer or headphone amp.
Most likely, you'll get something that comes with its own power supply/amp. The fulla2 line out/dac out would be a good source for your speakers.
Something like LSR305 + LSR310S would do the trick.
>too expensive
Headphones, then. Fulla 2 will likely power them well.

I already got the headphones I want but I need some speakers now.
Thanks for pointing me at what I need to look at tho.

Can someone please post ACCURATE fr graphs for the he560, th6xx, and hd600? I'm looking into all of them but people so often complain about which graph is posted about which headphone that I just don't know what to trust.
I think I'm able to understand what the FR graphs are saying though, it seems pretty straight forward.

Am I good buying the KZ ATE iems? Or should I shell out the extra few bucks for the KZ5s?

>HD600
en.goldenears.net/8072

Don't meme on me nigger. They're good headphones but only through the virtue of EQ and only in the context of their very low price. It's a super comfortable headphone with competent drivers and good build. Pic related is my EQ. I prefer it to the one I did with a tone generator. It's just by ear to electronic music while referencing the FR.
One down, thanks user.

audioholics.com/headphone-reviews/sennheiser-hd-600-headphone-review/hd-600-recommendations-measurements-and-conclusion.html
I love their bass quality/extension ratings.
Yes, this is the "literally no bass!!" HD600.

could someone help me decide between the Sony MDR1000x and the Sennheiser PXC 550? the sony's are 50 eurodollars more (so about 20% extra) so I was wondering if they are worth the price diff

HD600 is the second best, HD800 beats them.

Newfag with bad hearing detected.

I feel bad for all the people that fall for your shit. The hd600 is like ascended redditor tier

>people so often complain about which graph is posted about which headphone that I just don't know what to trust.
That's normal shitposting. Treating graphs like some sort of representation of their self worth.
>please post ACCURATE fr
First appreciate the inherent difficulties of measurement, and that pair-pair variance exists. The flaws in the measurement equipment and the limitations of generality.
May as well just use innerfidelity. Custom compensation stuff aside.

The sine sweep is really done to identify peaks and dips. Not so much general tuning.

What are the most noise isolating headphones to get for traveling purposes?

Ear dildos

What is the Thinkpad of headphones?

are MSR7 any good? how do they compare to DT770 250Ohm?

Any closed IEM that can be inserted to the second bend of ear canal. This is not at all Etymotic exclusive.
Second are the noise cancelling headphones over the ear.

Unironically HD600.
>user experience above average
>aesthetics out of the 90s
>easy to find parts
>can be repaired to last virtually forever
>extensive use of plastic

Perceiving of sound is subjective, there is no best headphones.

HD600 are good but are becoming more and more embarrassing to own and use because of retarded shitposters.

Unironically you are wrong. Thinkpad of headphones should cost no more than $100, just like chinkpads.

FiiO E10K worth it for ATH-M50X? It's on a 37% sale.

beat dis /hpg/

Can you tell me any specific models?

Philips Over-Ear Headphones (SHP2600/27)

HD569, HD380 Pro.

If you are going to buy dac/amp: akg k612 pro
If not

you know what, I'm interested in a dac/amp. Is there a specific one to buy?

>laptop
Schiit Fulla 2.

What about while playing
on PS4?
Plug it to PS4 as if it was a usb headset.
It'll likely just work, as it's standard usb audio "class 1". Else, there's the line-in in the fulla 2.

I looked at Amazon CA and they don't sell it. What about pic related?

Schiit sells directly at schiit.com, or via some select official retailers at:
schiit.com/faq/international

A bit weak:
audiobot9000.com/match/sennheiser/hd-380-pro/with/smsl/sd-793ii
When compared to the fulla2:
audiobot9000.com/match/sennheiser/hd-380-pro/with/schiit/fulla-2
But power-wise, both are sufficient for the HD380 Pro.

>being embarrassed to own headphones because of what a few shitposters on a Mongolian basket weaving forum say about them

Mm, so I just found out my little bastard cat destroyed my Xiaomi Pistons 3.0.

Since those are discontinued, are there any easy to get headphones that have a quality similar to these?

What I'm mostly pissed about are that these are the headphones I use to talk to my friends, so really, mic quality is my main concern.

Preferably cheaper in price as well.

The forbidden duo.

I prefer the HD 600 over the DT 880. I didn't find any comfort issues with the HD 600. Can't feel the clamping force so many people complain about. For me it feels as comfy as the DT 880.

It depends on head size. Clamping on HD600 is a problem for people with big heads mostly.

Something with some low-end. Not overpowering bass or anything, but it needs to be there. Clear mids and highs.

Superlux HD681/HD668b, Sennheiser HD558 and a few IEMs

What do you think about Sony MDR-1A ? Just got a pair two weeks ago..

880 pro has the same deathclamp as the HD600. It's the premium which doesn't.

HD579.

HD650 user here.
The "deathclamp" is very exaggerated and the headphone is rather comfy after a weak of use. I sometimes fall asleep wearing them.

It's an easily fixed problem but IMO not exaggerated. My 600 was way too tight until i stretched the metal bands.

Because you don't know how to EQ properly.

Bose qc35

>are the msr7s good
Yes

>how do they compare to 770s
770s are v shaped and not portable. Msr7s are bright

Should I pull the trigger on the SHP9500s?

Probably didn't penetrate your ear properly and form a good seal
