>there are people out there who unironically thinks this looks good

What the hell is wrong with the microsoft design team? Do they even have one or do the programmera themselves make all the art in powerpoint and paint? How much did they have to pay fisher price for the design consultations?
I litteraly cannot conceive of the fucked up mind who thinks this is in any way reasonable or aesthetic.

It'snot 2012 anymore dipshit

>le pretty, happy, bright colly colly colors ^^

i fucking hate what the industry has become

???

>implying it's not shit
90s was the pinnacle of desktop design

>GUI
Get a load of this faggot

It sadly looks better than win10

at least not everything looked exactly the fucking same, the icons were depicting objects in a realistic way, it didn't feel like as if it was made for children
the current design just reminds me of kindergarten

Nigga it's 2017, just use classicshell

WEW! What a dramatic difference from the turd with the botnet installed. Such a shame you can't change the theme.

It's an improvement from 7.
Also the typography is decent

It doesn't matter cause bad design is a trend now.

move north 4

>le pretty, happy, bright colly colly colors ^^

>It's an improvement from 7
I've always wondered what it's like being mentally disabled, care to share your other experiences?

At least with spotify it makes sense since they can just use the album covers, but with Windows PC it just looks dumb

I remember when I first used Windows 8, I didn't know where the power menu was located, and I left the computer on sleep mode for several hours. I guess I was pretty retarded back then, but Microsoft should have just kept the Start menu from before.

Retards are the ones who like shiny or tacky things.

get classic shell

>claims it's "fisher price design"
>literally inspired by bauhaus and international typographic style

???

My first experience with it was a rainmeter skin that came out before W8 even did. It had more customization that the actual version. I remember I had a little setup on my desktop and all the tiles were transparant besides the border and the actual icon. In W8 and W10 you cant even fucking customize them without digging into it and fucking with them

I hate Windows 7's design but Windows 8 isnt an improvement. But Windows 10's design is perfect

How about that little minimize button in the bottom right corner of the start menu? Mama mia

Oh, I've never used rainmeter before. I just know that I hated the Metro apps Microsoft pushed out. I mean, did anyone ever use the Windows Store or buy Metro apps? I can't imagine most people did.

No user XP had cartoon icons

I personally like the design of the metro icons. I enjoy icons that are flat and a solid color to make them look uniform and neat together. But Microsoft pushed the metro look where all the icons were different colors and looked like someone threw up onto the OS
>Pic related, my taskbar

how to get this?

>MacOS
>Windows
>BeOS, instead of AmigaOS

Its called photoshop bruh

Did you buy any Metro apps?

why the fuck would I buy metro apps?

If you happen to add AmigaOS you'll be appreciated.

I don't know. I was just asking.

I bought Cover to read my comics and mangu. It's fast as shit, has the nicest interface and syncs my reading progress between devices

Nobody should ever pay for something as stupid as a metro app. I've paid for certain programs before, but those are things that are actually useful. Pirating most other things like photoshop

That image has only a handful of different colors on the screen, most of which are just shades of blue, of which none are particularly eye-popping. What are you talking about, retard?

The only Metro app I would ever consider buying is WolframAlpha. I'm pretty sure you get the step-by-step solutions if you buy it, which the web browser version doesn't have. Of course, you could just pirate the mobile app and use that, but I don't like typing math on a phone.

Fluent design will save Windows UI

It's all poos and women these days.

But user, in Windows 7 you could always turn it off and use the classic theme without breaking part of the functionality.

See, I feel the opposite.

I prefer differently colored icons which can be easily associated to something.

For example: MAMEUIFX is blue, KeePassX is green, Eclipse is purple, etc...

no you are just old

>being colorblind
