If I were to upgrade a single part of my rig, what would you recommend?
If I were to upgrade a single part of my rig, what would you recommend?
Your screen
Your OS
CPU, but since that needs another socket, so another mobo, and even other RAM.
I don't feel confident that I could handle most games with 1080 res. Am I wrong?
Literally everything.
this, and get a SSD just for your OS.
you can handle 1080/60, just probably not at max settings
Install Gentoo
Better to just start from scratch? I made built this about 3-4 years ago.
screen + ssd
Windows 7 upgrade Windows 9
>FX
My nig, just get at least a GTX 970, 1080p screen, and 16GB of 1866mhz
Your pic says you have no optical disk drive.
Why don't you get an optical disk drive?
>How to waste a sata port
Why would you get an optical disk drive?
>has a 960
>recommends upgrading to 970
gamers should leave
install gentoo
It is a little faster and has 4gb* of memory, I wouldn't even get anything faster than a 980 or 290x, it's gonna bottleneck as time goes on.
Your garbage 32inch TV screen
Are you fucking retarded? first off, buying higher speed ram is one hell of a retarded investment, second, a 970 is fucking last gen, have you been living under a rock for the last 2 year? Fucking brainlet
It's last gen, but the whole FX is 32nm hwardare from 2011, I think it's still a great budget part now, but I don't think it's a good idea to grab brand new high end cards for it if you can't afford new hardware to begin with.
So buy a whole last gen card for what, 200-300$? This is the most retarded shit i've heard in my existence, just save your fucking money instead of fucking yourself in the ass with a 30 inch dildo
Damn dude Chill, high end gpus as a whole are retarded to buy right now because of the prices.
So are the 900 series lmfao
upgrade to linux
I literally just said buying a high end gpu at all is retarded right now...
definitely your screen, but really everything if you can. Fuck. Just get a new computer.
Also install gentoo
SSD
everything except the harddrive, case, and maybe PSU
The OS. Either to Linux or Win7 enterprise with less shitware and bloatware installed.
Get an SSD, you won't regret it
ssd no contest
I would say either an SSD or your OS.
