>guys look it's this old webm again proving an android phone with cached apps are faster than iphone not using cache xDDDDDDD

>trusting a test like this when results come down to fractions of a second and its a human clicking an icon
yeah 1000% legit no human error possible its all the phone

Go back.

The OP3T just has sped up animations. The iPhone actually loads faster because the app is ready for use while the OP will lag horribly. Haven't you wondered why they call it a "lagdroid"?

Keep feeding the trolls.

>using hands

All android vs iPhone shitposting aside, we gotta give oneplus credit for making a phone so thermally stable even on load.

In reality the iPhone's chip is faster BUT the cooling on the iPhone is so abhorrent it constantly has to to throttle its frequency to prevent thermal damage to the battery (ie explosion).

If apple focused on that weak keypoint it would result in a faster iPhone.

(You)

i hate both iOS and Android but tests like this is pure cancer

Agreed. Though in the full video the guy does test for thermal throttling and of course the iPhone 7 Plus throttles to like 50% clock speed on the GPU and CPU.

The apps are obviously not cached. The 3t would have won every time by a long shot.

And it does in real world multi-tasking. Users are reporting apps having to reload on the 7 Plus.

>no removable battery
>no expandable storage
Looks like both go into the trash in my book.

It's the best from android and iOS right now unfortunately.

But I share the same desire, an LG V20 with better cooling, 6GB of RAM, and dash charging would be absolute zen.

>Compares with a phone which is a year older literally a day before a new is anounced because he knows that android phone would lose

>running several applications at once
welcome to 1995 grandpa. It's 2017, mobile phones are not supposed to run several applications at once anymore.

Iphone don't have multitasking for a reason.

The iPhone 8 is already garbage. Turns out they're going backwards and only giving it 2GB of RAM.

arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/09/iphone-x-8-software-leak-specs/

Meanwhile the oneplus 5 already packs 8GB of RAM.

lol

>Iphone don't have multitasking for a reason.
Yeah because Apple wants to make as much profit as possible even if it means they will end up with a tiny bit of RAM and have to reload apps constantly as they run out of RAM.

Iphone 7 had 2Gb of ram and there were no problems with it.
Iphone 7 plus had 3Gb and Iphone 8 plus will also have 3.
Iphone X will have 3Gb.
Android still has problems while using 8Gb.

>Iphone 7 had 2Gb of ram and there were no problems with it.
Apps having to constantly reload isn't a problem?

>Android still has problems while using 8Gb.
Then why does nobody complain about apps having to reload on the 8GB RAM oneplus 5?

>lol

What are you laughing about? Humans are bad at multitasking, evolution has made people like that so that means being bad at multitasking is a good thing.
Iphone rather focus on what's needed.

>Yeah because Apple wants to make as much profit as possible
Which is only a good thing because they invest in research. Next time they might figure out a way to remove the USB-C and be completely wireless and leave you android fags in the dust.

>even if it means they will end up with a tiny bit of RAM and have to reload apps constantly as they run out of RAM.
Don't need much RAM anyway with the iPhone's focused computing.

Son, did I ever tell you the story about the fox and the grapes?

Android also uses an ahead-of-time optimising compiler, ART dex2oat, which is run on install and updates, and outputs object code. There are options for JIT as well.

Recent versions of the iPhone are served intermediate code by the devs, and Apple are the only ones allowed to compile final versions for it.

If you're going to argue about the two in a way that clearly favours iOS, argue about security; Android is a security trashfire.
