A wench

Whatever tools I can find. I don't have matching tool sets or cases to hold them all. Sometimes I use my teeth.

That's a nice looking set.

Got it for $130 plus tax at sears.com. Free shipping too. It it like 26lbs also!

Looks like the raised the price now.

a set of precision screwdrivers

That is way too many tools!
An entire set, my god man.

...

Very fucking nice
all i have is pic related

fpbp

Yeah, I have been bumming my dads tools for so long, time to get my own. Nice small set though. 10mm is the most useful metric socket.

I have a collection of dozens of cheap sets
for computers you only need like a screwdriver maybe a small socket set. I use a soldering iron setup for my drone hobby. I've used it before to mod my atx power supply for other needs

>I use a soldering iron setup for my drone hobby
Do you even need that anymore given all the standard components?

>Craftsman

I looked at equivalent American made tools. They were over $1000. I'd buy them if I used my tools a lot, but not for occasional use like I do.

My hands

>Chinkman
Well at least its not duralast.
Should've gotten a cornwell set instead.

oh yeah for sure. the components are mostly standard but the wires that connect them all are done by hand. you can buy them pre assembled but the cool kids just buy flight control boards, power distribution boards, speed controller boards, motors, radio reciever, video transmitter, fpv camera, and xt60 connectors for the battery seperately and built it themselves.

it really is better that way, the chinks always fuck up the power distribution board somehow and some of your components are running on the same circuits as your motors or something dumb like that.

you should see the sweet xt60 connector battery powered soldering irons they have now for drone pilots for fix stuff in the field. they're flipping sweet.

nice

A decent wrench/socket set is a necessity in my opinion. I like to use pic related to buff out my gpu and ram to give the electrons a little more spacial denstisity.

That does look pretty cool.

>chinks always fuck
Sup Forums knows this well!

A hairdryer for reflowing good ol AMD GPUs in HP computers/laptops.
Pic related, my precision screwdriver set and a screwdriver that came with my drill as a gift for computers that don't use phillips screws or any kind of small screw.
A cheap universal charger to test computers, Brand Mitzu, it was $10, just werks, 12v option is fucked but no problem for now.
Simple pliers.
A Mexi-chink SD and MicroSD to USB adapter that is starting to fail to recover damaged memories using testdisk.
TOP glue to fix broken computers, problems like fucked up hinges.
Stanley hobby Knife.
Canned air bottles again because my chink datavac clone died.
A UGreen SATA to USB adapter.
Hundreds of small transparent and black zip ties.
My MotoG 2013 as a wireless adapter.
A small brush.

Things to buy.
>Multimeter
>Heat gun
>Bending tool
>Prying tools

>Inb4 Hairdryer
It werks, A minute over a GPU and its enough.

You're fucking kidding right? If you're a career mechanic it's one thing to buy snap-on shit but to do it just for general purpose use is retarded.

heat shrink and a heat gun I think are essential

Ayyy, tools thread.

Gotta get dat sweet sweet Wera diamond coating.

I have a few screwdriver sets. One small no name ratcheting set with about 15 bits thats compact, and i've had for about 6 years. I'll be sad when the plastic gears finally strip out.

I do have this one pictured, got it so I have the bits for mac shit since they love using multiple sized torx bits, or pentalobe, or whatever the fuck these retarded companies use to secure shit. but the driver is a little tall, and can get uncomfortable with my hands after some hard screwing (giggity)

I picked up a teckton (meijer ((kind of like a walmart)) brand) that is in my mobile repair kit, has a small magnet mat, majority of bits I need, elongated bits, and a suction cup for phones, or I'll use for older magnet held imacs.

A Duralast brand dual drive screwdriver for desktops with bits and flex-extension. It has a flip switch and a collar you can hold, and the screwdriver will continue turning whatever direction you flip it in reducing the amount of work / action you need to perform. It's also heavy which means I can give it a hard twist holding my hand around it and it'll spin its self.

The ifixit jimmy is nice to use as well, or nylon spudgers if im dealing with more delicate electronics.

Tekton? They aren't a Meijer brand, but that's one of the few retailers that carry them.

I get the most use out of a set of precision screwdrivers with magnetic tips and spinning bases that let you keep pressure on them while turning. Brand unknown, but I'm pretty sure they were repackaged by Startech. I bought them at Memory Express (think Canadian Fry's or Micro Center) while picking up some parts.
I've got a ratcheting multi driver set with a few dozen bits that mostly only comes out on cases without thumb screws or with stuck thumb screws.
I've also got a set of Allen keys, but they don't come out often unless I'm working with water cooling.

is it true they aren't made in germany any more?

This? I bought the much smaller version of this on Amazon.

>new craftsman tools
haha sucker

>needing both metric and Her Majesty's imperial measurements for colonial subjects.

Why are Americans this cucked?

Company HQ is Germany, manufacturing is Czech Republic.

If you need more than a fucking screwdriver to "fix" your computer, then you're a fucking moron.

I'm currently rebuilding my LS6 engine, torque tube, T56 transmission, and differential on my race car Z06 Corvette. My garage is full of every fucking tool at this point. Just gutted my entire dash tonight to take my chassis to my roll cage builder.

...

What the fuck kind of computer do you have, the 1950s?

I prefer multi-use tools.

pic related. I don't mean those "multitools".

Those Bahco adjustable spanners are very well made.
