(((vim)))

?

It's the storebrand version of sublime

>back-end
>some html shit
HAHAHAHA GET A LOAD OF THIS GUY

Sublime isn't open source, though, I thought?

it's built using electron. electron runs on v8. v8 is google's botnet.

But sublime is actually usable, because it is not a fucking webbrowser

who cares?

Bloated resource hog
Sublime is objectively better and doesn't have 10% cpu usage in idle because of a fucking blink

other than slow startup times ive got no complaints.

It's fine. I'm a dev and a lot of people use it at work. It's like any other IDE

>free software is storebrand version of paid software

what the fuck kind of cpu are you running?

hardcore vim guy myself, but Atom is sexy to use. both are great to use. Sup Forums complains too much

Just use sublime

atom is shit rédditor

can you form actual arguments?

where is your argument, then?

github.com/atom/atom/issues/4378

Last time I used it, I got unfixable screentearing and high CPU.

Atom has the same issue as Discord and Slack, it uses a framework that's pretty much a web-browser implementation. On some devices it will be an imense battery drain.

I'm currently writing a screenplay inside Atom + Fountain.

atom.io/packages/fountain

runs like ass on my pc, also it takes too much space

because vscode with neovim integration gives me everything I always wanted, including a proper block style caret.
