Well I do have XP and got the fonts from it but I just don't know how to extract all the icons from it. I'm using an icon editor but extracting them from the .dll files is a fucking pain. Or i'm just too retarded to do it easily enough

You need to adjust the fonts more than anything, it's fucking jarring, just use fucking Takoma and be done with it. And then you have to fix that start bar, icons are way too big on it, and there's borders where there shouldn't be.

they obviously look different for different versions of windows
I don't know how various windows managers or desktop environments handle them, but I know MATE doesn't like .ico files, so you'd have to convert them to png if you're using MATE
