Nobody answered last thread, so I'll ask it again:
Is there a decent way to play audio CDs/other optical media using MPV?

rip it

>github.com/haasn/mpv/commit/cf212503d67a06b
>not vo_anime
why :(

...

af=acompressor for drc

wtf does that have to do with his question

that's how i play audio cds

Oh checked the old thread he can't play audio cds at all. compile with libcdda or smt

Shit! They did it again. They are renaming tons of things and we have to change our mpv.conf once again.

hey wait what is that dog doing

help

Whooooo! Madshi has his own forum: forum.madshi.net
I don't know madshi was a delphi programmer.
I thought delphi was completely dead like vbscript or autoit.

madshi is a cool guy

I wonder what he plans for madvr version 1.0. Any ideas?

Y-you too!

I didnt know you watch anime! T-thanks.

Only if the characters have really long necks.

We need madVR 0.92.3 now!
The 0.92.2 is bugged as hell!

Ask him directly: [email protected]

I don't think he will tell me.

>profile=gpu-hq
Ugly name, I don't want it on my config.

shiiiet

Now imagine if it were
>profile=anime-hq
Sounds amazing.

They should just make it the default, that way it doesn't need to be in your config.

They cant make it default.

Why?

vo=gpu is the default already.

Avatar proposed by hanna for wm4. XD

I mean, what you need enums for when you have structs?

Given how most of the mpv users are anime watchers, there really should be a built-in anime profile.

A lot of people use toasters.

...

What would it contain?

AnimeEnhancer.glsl

github.com/haasn/gentoo-conf/blob/xor/home/nand/.mpv/config

Everything in this file.

RAVU!

QUADRO CONFIG

It's just a stupid doubler...

RAVU is great.

Why isn't it just profile=hq?

Doesn't it just set some default scalers and enable debanding, should be independant of what vo you use.

scale=haasnsoft
cscale=haasnsoft
dscale=mitchell
dither-depth=auto
correct-downscaling=yes
sigmoid-upscaling=yes
deband=yes
deband-iterations=2
deband-range=12

Can someone post bjins opengl-shaders=? I'm interested if he is using RGB RAVU or yuv or luma.

You had one job...

It doesn't help but thanks anyway.

who is Madshi

he who must not be named

The only one who truly cares about quality

Only vo=gpu supports those options

profile=anime-hq

[anime-hq]
profile=gpu-hq

But what if I occasionally don't watch anime with this?

[anime]
profile=anime-hq

[non-anime]

[anime-hq]

Just use mpv -profile anime or mpv -profile non-anime depending on the file you're opening
