bought a new thinkpad with a xeon 1505 and spent a whole day fucking wipping the drive and trying to instal win7 on it, put usb 3.0 drivers and shit on the installation usb thinking thats why it wouldnt find device drivers

thinkpad p51 with a xeon 1505, its kaby lake or whatever the fuck where intel doesnt support win7, when i was in win7 set up, it wouldnt detect a single hard drive
i turned off secure boot and did the UEFI, its not the cause......I would love to be proved wrong though
did you try using a DVD instead of USB? i'd definitely try that. might have to make a slipstream iso with your drivers.

i dont get it? its for windows 7 updates, I cant even install win7 on my machine. When I'm in setup after it boots the USB it wont detect my SSD so I cant install it, there now way around that initial problem
