Dusty computer

I just opened my computer and it's very dusty, is this a problem? Do I buffed to clean it? Pic related is my pc

>buffed
Meant to say "cleaned", posting on my phone right now and it changed the word.

Is it safe to vacuum it? Or will it break my pc?

Take it outside and hose it down.

>expected to see PATA ribbon cables in that monstrosity.
>did not see them.

You disappoint me OP.

As for cleaning you have two options, the first, actually dust it. The second, bring it to your local butcher to have it properly cleaned and de-feathered. Your choice op.

Not a problem at all. The dust helps the PC stay warm so it doesn't freeze.

No, it's not a problem, just leave it open.

I used an air can to clean it out. The can is cold like ice so I'll let it regain some heat before I continue.

I finished cleaning it and it runs well

Good job, user.

Wtf did I just read through.

this is a very weird thread.

Where's that pic of an old pc looks like aztec ruins?

I'm OP, what's weird about it?

Don't hold it upside down idiot

Dust is an insulator so it'll heat up.
If it's not overclocked and you didn't get the cheapest crap it'll work just fine.
