Is the Moto g5 pluse still the best phone to get for around $300?

why is the new moto z so fucking expensive

>Lenovo launches four new Android tablets
These tablets were announced back in February, how is it news?

I mean you could get a new lg G5 and probably a spare battery with charger for that price.

So is there anything that can compete with the LG V30 at the same size or bigger and with a headphone jack?

G5S Plus is already available in some markets, I'd wait for that

Who /nokia 8/ here? This phone is awesome.

Right, out of these what would you recommend?

>Sony Xperia XZ Premium
>OnePlus 5
>Nokia 8
>Wait for Pixel 2

Check this shit out, I downloaded a porn video and Google Photos made a nice animated gif out of it (NSFW obviously):

>Zenfone 4: 2017
Why is Asus so bad at naming conventions?

oneplus 5 and maybe the Pixel 2 but even with the smaller chin and forehead it looks like shit
Check the LG V30, looks like the best bet right now for high end phones, everything 2017 or about to be released looks lacking to say the least.

How's the camera look on the V30?

Femanon here

Although the Lenovo tab 4 range was announced at MWC in February, the first two (non-Plus) tablets weren't released until June, and the other two (Plus) tablets have just been put up for pre-order now. That's why they are in the news agaon

you'd look better with my cum on your face, whore

Samsung galaxy s8 costs €579,99 in muh cunt. Isn't this just the best phone in existence??

Is sd625 powerful enough for today's standards and near future? Would i even notice the difference between sd820 device and sd625 one in anything except benchmarks or super demanding applications like nice-looking games?

should i buy the zen phone 3?

SD625 is more than enough for anything that isn't heavy gaming. There won't be a huge difference between a SD625 and a SD820 in regular use.

What's the successor to the Redmi Note 4? And do Xiaomi phones really have "backdoors"?

yes, they have backdoors they are fully made in china and not exported to the us only euros and india takes them. China puts back doors in there own brands and even our brands but its not that bad. Also i dont really know a successor to the note 4, you could try the iphone se i gues

There isn't a successor yet, Redmi Note 5 is probably coming sometime later this year

What unreleased models are you most looking forward to, /spg/?

can you tell me more about backdoors? not sure if it's a serious security/privacy concern, or just annoying corporation bs adding software for their services

LG v30

Do you guys think a Moto x4 with android one can be sold around 200 dollars?

What options do i have for 450$?

They've already said it's going to be $400

Cost of the components of the flagship iPhone X, which Apple recently presented. Citing insiders, it notes that the amount is 413 dollars, with the most expensive part - 5.8-inch OLED-matrix Samsung for $ 80.

According to the publication, the processor A11 Bionic Apple cost $ 26, and 256 GB of internal memory of Toshiba cost $ 45. The price of RAM, the amount of which in iPhone X is 3 GB - 24 dollars.
At the same time, the set of sensors for Face ID was estimated at $ 25, the case - at $ 53, the camera - at $ 33.

Nokia 9

OP5

I mean, can the price drop significantly?

How long do Xiaomi phones generally last? Can you get 2-3 years out of them?

Nowhere near that much, if it launches at $399 it it might drop to $350 few months after launch

They design the processor in-house so you're forgetting R&D costs

R&D costs isn't something you'd list in a bill of materials

>iphone 6
>3 years old
>lags beyond belief
>battery dies at 25+%
>tfw ingrained into the apple ecosystem and cant into android
i tried earlier this year, it didn't work out

so basically do I go for an SE, a 7/7+, or the 8/8+

8+ if you can afford it, goyim.

Surely you mean iPhone X

Really so very old gadgets

Why is that some Snapdragon 835 are clocked as 2.45Ghz while others are at 2.35Ghz?

great, I would say the best on the list and I don't think the Pixel 2 will have a better one since Google always deliver subpar or regular camera performance.
Check some shills on youtube to know more, only left deciding factor would be availability and price wherever you live user.

is the LG G6 able to upgrade to Android 8.0?

Chinkshit isn't built to last, that's why it's so cheap. 2 years tops if your'e lucky.

this may be a stupid question, but do you guys think that smartphones are heading the right way when it comes to AR games? like is it too taxing on the phones? even the custom made ones?

i narrowed it down to these two.
Nokia is 214,99€
Sony is 299,99€

No, Tango was a failure

Xperia, why are you still asking

Nokia, why are you still asking

Kill yourself, why are you still asking

Looking for a phone with the following, any help appreciated:

>Battery: Very large, above 3500mAH
>CPU: Fast enough to support video calls and a great deal of video use
>GPU: Decent one, don't know much about GPUs
>Resolution: Minimum 1080p IPS or OLED screen
>Camera: Decent/Good front camera (Back as well obviously but a decent front is what I'm really looking for)
>RAM: 2/3GB or above
>ROM: 32GB or above
>Design: Pink, White (Colour doesn't matter too much)
>Android which will last a long time with app updates
>Giffgaff, Vodafone UK 4G capabilities
>Possibly a fingerprint reader (Not a requirement)
>Price: If possible, not above £150

Very thankful for any help that is given, I was going to buy a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition but those seem to have lowered in stock and increased in price.

What are some good reasons not to buy Xperia XZ Premium over S8+? I've used the S3 and S5 before, about to upgrade though.

>not above £150
Best bet would be Xiaomi Mi A1

XA1s use Helio processors so good luck ever getting custom ROM support down the line.

Redmi Note 4 is the successor of the Note 3 Pro, get the Global variant for full support of UK network bands:

Looking for a phone with a removable battery, at least 3gb ram, micro sd slot, and mhl/slimport compatible. All that comes up in GSM arena is some of the notes from 2014 and a few xperia's if I'm willing to give up the removable battery. Is everything after 2015 for cucks or did batteries improve that much? I keep over 100gb of music/shows on my phone so giving up the micro sd isn't realistic.
>inb4 just use the cloud user
No, fuck that shit

I know for a fact that this phone has a proximity sensor. How come it doesn't react when I wave my hand over it?

>removable battery
>mhl/slimport
you ain't going to find those in recent phones

What's the best android launcher out there?

Meizu M6 Note is worth a look at, the 3/32 model is around £150

Nova

Someone recommended that I talk to Google again about the defective Nexus 6P RMA, and they sent me a new Pixel XL.

I love it, but should I pay $800+ for the next one in Oct?

stop ruining Sup Forums for the rest of us. you're giving respectable anons a bad image. we have always acknowledged women's rights as valid on this board, and that means that a woman has a right to *not* be harassed by the likes of you, scum.

By now it's a gimmick at best and Pokemon Go was the biggest AR game and most people wouldn't use AR because it killed battery life. Oh and the game is dead.

Been thinking to buy the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 once it's out, but it looks like it won't be officially available in UK. Any place where I can get it without being fucked in the ass from import taxes?

The Solution Shop?

eu.thesolutionshop.global/

Thinking about upgrading my note 2 tomorrow. I'm on Verizon and am wanting to get the note 8.

I have to replace my Galaxy S4: I want a phone that will be equally good or better under every aspect, especially the screen.

State your country and your budget, pleb

What's a good dumbphone?

I really just want something I can use to call, text, and listen to FM radio. Preferably a small unlocked flip phone.

Nearly anything at this point

My mom's Redmi Note 3 Pro still looks brand new today while I've replaced the screen on my Mi5 twice already since I bought it last year.

It doesn't help that the replacement screens are only $17.

Durability really depends if you have spaghetti hands or not.

I'm so proud to see this generation of anons actually interested in what tablet tech was meant for and keeping cellular modems of tablets and from making them smaller while also not making phones bigger...

...You do have a phone for talk, text, and maybe data tethering alone, separate from a Linux based tablet that does everything else, do you? You haven't fallen for the bundle muh phone-camera-sexbot-pacemaker-analGPSprobe jew, have you anons?

What's the cheapest 1080p phone with capacative buttons available in the EU?

get a chromebook and an old nokia

i went a bought a zte axon 7 last year and a friend got a op3 even tho i love the axon 7 the phone signal is really bad to the point where it eats more battery life then the screen im looking for a comparable phone in the same price range with better signal
currently looking at the moto z play and the lenovo vibe p2 seeing as i only use my phone for web brousing. fire emblem heroes and the occasional text and call the biggest things im looking for is battery life and most of all signal
im in canada btw
any help or advice would be appreciated

Oh also crazy fast CPU and decent battery life.

< 300 EUR

My Chromebook with Libreboot and Arch Linux ARM doesn't fit in my pocket.

How about this?

shop.fairphone.com/en/

Get bigger pockets.

500 euro for a meme?

No thanks.

>reddit is a safe place
that site has subs for people far more hardcore than you can find on Sup Forums or stormfront. definitely not a safe space.

i would prolly go with the moto z play since im not sure the lenovo can handle the canadian wilderness

I don't know how much 500 euros is tbqh user

What does Sup Forums think of BLU android phones? I have a BLU windows phone and honestly for it's price ($70) it's a good little phone. I've long since replaced it (V20 now), just wondering as to the consensus on them. Pic related. One of their decent offerings

Got one of their free models with an AT&T basic plan. Worked pretty good for the 2 or so years I had it before I got a job that gave me a better phone.

I had their "energy" model. It was some 900mhz mediatek based quad core. 1GB ram, 16GB internal. But it had an microSD slot, and stock 5000mah battery. Coupled with the 720p screen, I was getting around 3 days average use. No LTE though. It even came with adapter to use my phone to charge other devices.

Gave it to my little sister. She broke it within 3 weeks. Completely shattered screen, backplate cracked, and she managed to almost rupture the battery.

eenewseurope.com/news/usb-c-controller-certified-qualcomm-quick-charge-4

Looks like they're finally developing consumer QC4/4+ Chargers

Considering how late this is, I'm guessing no S835 device will ever have it despite supporting it, seems they pushing it for 836.

Why is this shit so late?

When under 10nm processors come? I think I will updgrade then to some snapdragon 6xx processor because battery life is going to be amazing.

So what do we predict the average battery life of the V30 will be under normal use?

>So what do we predict the average battery life of the V30 will be under normal use?
Considering the V20 is capable of a full day, I'd assume around the same for the V30. They increased the battery capacity by 100mah from the V10 to 20 to account for the always on 2nd screen and said screen brightness increase.

All of this assuming you're not expecting to be able to play demanding games on it at 100% brightness for 10+ hours

My phone's battery is getting on a bit, it barely lasts a full day any more, when I first got it it used to last two weeks or more. What's a recent phone with a good battery life?

>you have to go back

moto z play or the lenovo p2 are the best you can get for battery life

Does the Moto e4 have a notification LED light? I'm pretty sure it has one but I can't find out how to turn it on.

where do you even get the moto mods?

>buying chink shit
>it crashes after 3 months
>no warranty

one is here
indiegogo.com/projects/keyboard-mod-a-physical-keyboard-for-the-moto-z
it's the reason i'm changing the phone soon, i already clicked early bird thingie and when i'll get the keyboard, i'm going to buy moto z play

other than that, i saw projector thingie on auction sites once

Have that one in your pic, I smashed the camera lens, I have no clue how that happened, and cracked the front towards the top of the bezel
Pretty decent phone, definitely not worth the 199.99 price, if you're looking to spend that money on a phone, get the Huawei Honor 6X, you'll thank me
