What is the best graphics card for under $200?

I'm considering a MSI GTX 1050

3gb gtx 1060
Yeah it is 10$ over.
Deal with it. GTFX card market is fucked ATM.

New or used?

290x

GTX 1050 Ti

this. get a used r9 290x and put a manual fan curve in msi afterburner.

brand spankin new

1060 3GB but I'd recommend you look in your used market and look for a 970 or a 390x, what country do you live in?

>used 970
Don't.

Also buy a 800W PSU.
Something like a 280X 3GB or 380X 4GB is relatively reasonable as a placeholder as it's still faster than a 1050 but alot cheaper.

I have my 380 with an evga 500 w bronze and works juuust fine

Why not they're 150-180 usd where I live

3.5 meme is real, any new game has no problems filling up VRAM. The card would be way more legit with the last 0.5GB disabled.

I've yet to encounter any real VRAM limits in most games I play (I'm not an oldfag generally speaking in games for pc, mainly play games from the 2010s) with only GTA 5 and Rainbow six seige being the only real games that I had to lay back on visuals.

There aren't any currently because of miners best thing to do is just wait for a crash

My 280x has serious stability issues, would not recomend

this.^

just use w/e you have until prices stabilize the gpu market is so fucked atm

the 390x is a good miner, good luck with that hahahahah and the 970 is a 3.5gb pos

nothing till october, the coin market will hit a new hash that makes 8gb and under cards unable to effectively mine, flooding the market.

You need to pre-order and you will get the retail price. I suggest the RX 560.

RADEON RX 560 O4GB GAMING GDDR5 DP HDMI DVI AMD

Here is the pre-order page -shopblt.com/item/asus-rogstrixrx560o4ggami-radeon-rx-560-o4gb/asus_rogstrixrx560o4ggamih.html

$154.79 add about 20 dollars for shipping.

AMD’s Radeon RX 570 was suppose to be priced under 200 dollars in the 180 range but there is too much demand and the card rarely goes below 250 and usually sells well over 300 easily. Even if you pre-order the unit it will still cost you close to 300 dollars. The card can generate enough of a hash rate to pay for itself in less than 6 months so the demand for it is still very high.
