aren't black themes bad for your eyes? I always see ghosting texts when I look at a white on black text on a screen and then look somewhere else
Dunno, but bright themes hurt my eyes, even with the brightness and backlight down pretty low on my monitor.

well let's say I don't like ghosting text after I look for too much at white on black text
if you have to read something black on white just keep your environment well-lighted and you'll be fine
You need a new monitor, user.
I request evidence for such claim.
Well, not full screened (as one might get by hitting F11), but I do keep the window maximized. Why would I want anything else to distract me when browsing? I'll alt-tab if I need another application.
I'm talking about my eyes, not about ghosting text on the monitor. it's an optical illusion but it's annoying
