What is the second best headphone behind the HD600?

here's my setup idol trash. nothing but regrets

boast ur headphones.
Yes, you!

10/10
0/10

My camera is bad but my headphones are good.

your camera is many many many times better than mine. I don't even have a camera its my phone

>Elear
>$1000 HD650s with treble spikes
you poor thing

Mine is my phone too, and without filtering everything looks red as fuck.
1. You've never heard them.
2. I EQ everything anyways.

>1. You've never heard them.
That's where you're wrong, retard. They have them at Minidisc.

Good for you bud.

>HD650s with treble spikes
lol the hd650 has rolled off treble. that's like saying "hd650 but more neutral". also what genres of music do you listen to? because you're obviously conveniently leaving out the flabby bass of the sennheisers in your description

It's really a nobrainer when the infinitely superior HD800 are actually $300 less than the Shitear that are literally just HD650s with a worse stock frequency response. If you're going to be EQing anyway it makes even less sense to buy them.

Also thank you OP for using the new pic instead of the old one.
Cool opinion.

I need suggestions for what to engrave on the element knob
Trips to win

benis

oh damn that was fucking close

...

Just bought a Magni 3, did I fucked up?

>trips to win

You won

Will he deliver?

Looking for a good pair of headphones for gym

I would like them to have skip and previous, volume and play/pause. Bluetooth

Thanks lads

Decent earbuds for running / general exercising? Hopefully under $75

>A monochrome image with a black background needs to be inverted. Our production staff uses their best judgement and corrects images as necessary
apparently white backgrounds are best then, so the pic works great. I'm cracking up thinking about the staff working on a high res image of 2b's ass

Is it worth getting a multibit dac?

Weird, my friend literally just asked me that and I went here to ask the people of this thread. Said about 30-80 range, and specifically low isolation so they don't get hit by a car. IEMs preferred, considering wireless
misc:
has "small ears"
currently uses just like apple earbuds so we don't exactly need to go from zero to sixty here if you get what I am saying
prob' just using phone as source

Yes

what good headphone that I can get under 100 bucks?

bestbuy.com/site/sennheiser-audiophile-over-the-ear-headphones-titan/1700513.p?skuId=1700513

Yincrow X6 with VE Monk Plus EX PACK without Monks. On AliX it should total to ~$20 in total. The pack comes with hooks, extra foam and a couple rubber bands.

coming from the audiomemenicha m50's, what should i go with? looking for open backs, also need an amplifier. budget is around 600-800 for the pair.

usually listen to guitar based music, some jazz and electronic.

Budget - $150 or under
Location - Albany, NY
Source - Connecting to my PC
Type - Full-sized
Open back
Comfort Level - Willing to trade comfort for sound quality, though being able to wear them for long periods would be ideal
Sound signature - neutral
Past Headphones - Currently using ATH-M50x headphones.

I've realized that I am listening to a lot more ASMR to wind down to after a long day at work. I already have my ATH-M50x for portable use, but I'm looking to get a pair of open back headphones with a large sound stage for a more comfortable listening experience on PC. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

Thanks. These seem to be just what I need.

>had my audio set up wrong for the past year since I got it
>finally got it set up right
>found out about tidal
>mfw listening to tidal with my T50RP MK III
>mfw using pic related which I just got in today

Literally life changing

>tidal

What's wrong with it? I got the military discount so the best version is only $11.

it's a gimmick

>Youtube rips > FLAC Streaming

who said youtube rips? that just means you were retarded before.
>FLAC
archival format, audibly indifferent to properly encoded lossy formats

How? They have every artist/song I like it's better quality than YT and I don't have to spend time hunting a torrent

>YT rips

Any recommendations for long MMCX cables? I'd like to use my IEMs for porn on the desktop

>flabby bass of the sennheisers
Some people listen to actual music and not recordings of escaped slaves grunting and mumbling swear words to an electronic drumbeat

>what is a bass guitar

Is there something similar to the AirPods?
I wanted to get the iPhone x with AirPods but I'm actually getting a Samsung now

Just stop. Your ears are just fucked from listening to too many cheap headphones. Have you ever heard live music, not amplified, but actual instruments being played in the same room? It's a rhetorical question because everyone who complains about "sennheiser veils" and "weak bass" is clearly living in an electronically altered bizarro world.

Should I buy a DAP or an LG V30 after it drops to 500 bucks?

>listening to too many cheap headphones.
I own more expensive headphones than you though
>Have you ever heard live music, not amplified, but actual instruments being played in the same room?
yes all the time, I have family members that are musicians and play to crowds in the hundreds / thousands. that doesn't mean I enjoy gigs or live music, live music sounds like ass unless it's an orchestra

What's the best way to approach a broken headphone jack for M50s? Everything sounds like it's underwater. I've had these for 4 years now, pls help

You can get LG V10's used for cheap nowadays

>I own more expensive headphones than you though
No you don't
> I have family members that are musicians and play to crowds in the hundreds / thousands.
DJs aren't "musicians"
>live music sounds like ass unless it's an orchestra
Kill yourself

>No you don't
hd600 and hd650s are budget cans man
>DJs aren't "musicians"
lmao no shit they aren't
>Kill yourself
okay rofl

>hd600 and hd650s are budget cans
Ok?

You seem to have me mistaken for a Sennheiser fanboi, I haven't even owned a pair in 5+ years. It's one thing to have preferences but you clearly just have broken ears

>It's one thing to have preferences but you clearly just have broken ears
yup, I have a different opinion than you, therefore I must be wrong. You are always correct and infallible.

I guess you own CIEMs then since you need them on stage right?

Headphones with similar sound signatures as DTX350? I want a headphone which is very durable, strong, can last indefinitely for years, and still worth to be fixed even if it's broken. Not putting a price limit for now

My DTX350 starts to fall apart after 6 years of daily use, but fixing a $90 headphone doesn't seem to worth it and it doesn't look like a very durable headphone to be honest

You surpassed "differences of opinion" when you declared the most neutral headphones under $500 to have "weak bass"

Do the DACS remain the same or do they get better?

I said flabby not weak, but they also have subbass rolloff so they are indeed weak as well.

do you mean that IEM is better than T50rp??
haha

They remain the same though the higher the impedance, the more power the phone pushes into the headphone jack.

Is it generally cheaper to buy a DAC separately when looking for an integrated amp for a speaker setup?
All the integrated amps with DAC included seem pretty expensive.
Also looking for integrated amps without DAC opens up a lot more possibilites on the used market.
Pls advise, /hpg/.

Fuck, wrong image.
Whatever.

The v10 has a single DAC, the v20 has a quad DAC

>dedicated DAC
do you really want to deal with another wallwart on top of everything else in your setup

I'm going to Germany later this month and would like to buy a shp9500 but can't for the life of me find anyone selling it there

try ebay

MDR-1000X or HD600 can't decide. Wireless and noise canceling is just a meme right?

What's the recommend amp for the tr50ps III? something cheapish

anyone who thinks sennheiser is accurate has never listened to live music or been at a concert. People who seriously believe that mid-centric headphones with high distortion are accurate need to get their ears checked and stop listening exclusively to idol trash and K-pop.

Monoprice desktop amp

Much better than the fulla2 meme

Nice pick, got a chance to listen to them for a short while and really enjoyed them
I opted for the 800S though

>Comfort level
Comfort is more important than sound quality to me

>Past headphones
Been using the Xiaomi Piston 2s for the past year or so. Sound quality has been good enough and comply tips made a good deal. Only thing I didn't like about the comply tips is that over time they broke and it was hard to get ear-wax off them.

I use my headphones on the way to and from work to listen to music, podcasts and sometimes audio books. I'm not looking to spend too much money because they're going to get beaten up and thrown in my pocket so I don't want to have to baby them. Sound quality is obviously important but comfort is a higher priority.

Having a microphone is also pretty important to me

The whole point(s) of dac/amp combos like the Fulla 2, E10K and the like, is to be able to feed them with just the computer's USB and be reasonably portable. There's nothing memie about that.

Anyone tried these with m40x?

Should I get new DAC/amp?
Pic related, current setup, except I removed the amp, it was defective.

Wow, yes you should. Start with a magni 3, upgrade the DAC later if you feel like it.

I recommend the monoprice desktop amp, which I use with the exact same headphones.

Hey cuties

here to meet the regular anime girls

>$99
Well looks like it's gonna be a while before I can upgrade.
Also the DAC is faulty as well, has clipping.
Fuck I feel like buying chinkshit again.

Budget: 110±20 €
Location: Portugal (ordering from either spain or uk)
Source: Directly from PC
Type of headphone: Over-ear
Open or closed: Closed
Comfort level: to be used over long periods of time
Past headphones: Sony MDR-ZX110NC, HD201, MDR-ZX770BN (borrowed right now)

I want something with good isolation and comfortable, which might be polar opposites.
Is rtings.com/headphones a good place to start looking for headphones?
Open back as last resort, but at that point it's going to be HD558

>Comfortable
>Good Isolation
DT770, it's v-shapped, but also one of the most comfortable and isolating options in the price range.

Anyone ever tried one of these swapable filter IEMs?
They're pretty expensive, is the feature worth?

My Xiaomi Piston 2 just broke (right monitor not working) and I really liked them.
It looks like the latest version is now the Hybrid ones, are they good? I value sound quality, durability and noise isolation (I use public transport often).

If not, what could I buy in that price range that is good?

Thanks /hpg/

Can someone help, I'm buying a pair of used HD 600s and this is his picture of the box, I thought sennheiser was written in blue and there was a logo in the middle? do fakes even exist?

#justsennproblems

>owning and recommending a knockoff product
how pleb can you get?

almost perfect with that sturdy metal frame but has the highest clamp force I've ever seen
it will do If I can't find an alternative

Who are you going to believe, a shitposter on a chinese cartoon board or one of the world's leading mix engineer?

this how my hd600s came.

wtf i am cultheiser now

winifredphillips.com/ she uses them too

They defintily are the best headpohnes ever made but I prefer the 650s with a slight EQ

Mine had a box like that too, ordered from Adorama camera about 4 months ago.

>defintily are the best headpohnes
I'm noticing differences in IQ between users of varying headphone types

Tony Maserati probably has a high IQ

If you want something like that, 1more has one similar to it, no idea if it's exactly the same though. I wouldn't trust anything after the Piston 3.
Also check out RE400, Sony MH1 and SE215, they have great comfort and isolation, but the MH1 cable is annoying.

Knockoff of what?
Aren't monoprice stuff just chink OEMs anyway?
