Why have you still not tried it? It's RMS approved
Vivaldi - Make the switch
>tried it
>liked it
>updated to 1.12, CPU trough the roof
>retrograded back to 1.11
>nfg
>Installed it
>Doesn't launch
>Uninstalled it
>chromium derivatives
I like, but it's so slow compared to Edge or FF 57.
No Sync
No mobile app
>Proprietary freeware
This desu
FF57 is kang
>t's RMS approved
you fucking liar faggot
vivaldi team are liars and refuse to admit that it still phones to Google
use Brave, Ungoogled Chromium or Iridium Browser if you want chrome without Google
Version 1.13 is already out.
slow useless meme bloatnet
Oh look chromium with a closed source botnet skin.
This is kind of unrelated, but I was wondering if you would know, since you're using UnGoogled Chromium. Apparently Chomium downloads proprietary blobs after being installed. Is there any proof of this? What specific differences does UnGoogled Chromium make compared to Chromium?
>No mobile app
neo Sup Forums everyone
Good thing the UI is the most important part of a browser, otherwise we would be all using lynx or w3m
>tried it
>liked it
>its still a botnet
>uninstalled
>reformatted harddrive
i approve it.
i have 1.10. is that only your problem or other people have it as well?
>takes ages to open for whatever reason
Ditched it in favour of chrome
I dislike chrome, but at least it opens the instant I click on the icon, it doesn't take 30 seconds like vivaldi
>Closed source
>RMS approved
Beyond obvious that you only pick one. What are you trying to pull?
>Open source
>Is there any proof of this
Literally look at the source. It is the proof. It's been removed since then because of backlash but it used to have open source code that downloaded a binary blob that listened in on user's microphones.
>non-free
>chromium based
no
>Literally look at the source.
Is this a joke?
it's chromium with the google pings still in it, so why bother
nice UI, though.
only me by the looks of it. It was FB pages for some reason. could have just needed a tweak but I was too lazy to fool with it so I just went back.
Why would it be a joke? That guy sounds sensible and it's not funny
Why don't you go and read the Chromium source code and write back to me about that minor snippet of code that lets Chromium apparently download proprietary blobs? Easy, peasy, right?
It has native verticle tabs.
You're not getting non-shitty tree style tabs back any other way.
