I doubt we will... Surface-type tablets with a proper digitizer maybe but i doubt we'll be seeing proper laptops in that form factor again. It's a shame too, they're so comfy...

There's already 400GB 100MB/s mSD cards and 512GB ones on the way.

Just get the 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, i7 variant and just buy mSD cards every few years to increase storage. We should see 2TB mSD cards before 2020 anyway.

My wife's Dell Inspiron two-in-one notebook is like that... but it's bright red and looks like some Fisher Price shit, runs a quad core Pentium, and RAM maxes out at 4GB... with Win10 on it.

I don't complain about the specs for a facebook machine microsoft edition it's just that it's still made of glue and good luck if anything happens to it.

Yeah it's glue but it's solid as long as you take care of it. It's useful as a business laptop. You could play games that work on its iGPU if you swing that way. I do all of my work on the go on it because it's full windows and can install programs. If you're comparing it to other tablets by saying facebook machine, you're way off
