Onii-chan, why doesn't mpv have a built-in, finely tuned, anime preset so we don't always have to copy/paste bullshit settings from people who don't know what they're doing?
Why don't mpv devs just give us a really good preset?

inane

that image doesn't make any fucking sense

soft ewa scalers + RAVU.

bird poo

profile=gpu-hq

Makes sense to me. She had crazy sex which lead to a wet spot, creampie, and hand marks on her ass.

yeah, its bird poo

--window-scale but for monitor size when

you want mpv to make your monitor bigger?

scale the window by % of your monitor

You mean like --geometry=50%?

cannot be use as a keybind

>soft and blurry
>good for anime
?

>(((blurry)))

Sure it can, you make mpv start with it, then you have the 'f' key to switch between fullscreen and your window size.

not a keybind

File a feature report, none of the real devs visit Sup Forums.
github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues

>none of the real devs visit Sup Forums.
Cringe. Even madshi visits Sup Forums.

how do I make a playlist in this piece of shit

put in multiple files

i don't think that's true. i believe haasn, igv and bjin have all been in Sup Forums threads already. maybe they're not participating regularly, though.

>haasn the shill
>never in the threads talking to another "dev"

rossy also visits these threads

IIRC lachs0r was posting in mplayer2 and mpv theads back in 2012, don't know if he still does

None of those are real mpv devs

Rude

>bjin
NOPE. I wish though.

...

What's the async flag on the screenshot binds for and what key is "SHARP" to cycle audio

devs show up sometimes, I've argued with 1 or 2 of them in the past
lachs0r definitely shows up, unless it's not another user that has a hard on for 0x0.st

Hello, how do I increase the cache settings?
I set 'cache-default' and 'cache-backbuffer' to '500000' for both. But instead of 10s+bunchofMB it now just has 10s and a lot of 'EOF' in the log.

I looked at mpv.io/manual/master/#options-cache-default where it says it's in KB, and mpv doesn't throw any config errors.

...

every dev has a hard-on for 0x0.st

Even I use this and I'm not even a dev.

Stop shilling it.

Here's how it's accepting the values.

I'm not shilling anything user, I don't even use it

I should have tested it with a larger stream. It then did indeed work as expected. Not sure why it only says 10s without size for smaller streams.

What do you have your cache set to, Sup Forums? I was thinking 1GB. Using 4.9GB currently, but I wonder if that's just because of seeding, or because I'm using 12 Chrome tabs and an electron app.

How can I make show-text show permanently until I press the key again (cycle)?

500MB

is there a way to overwrite multiple settings at once in input.conf?
I'd like to ignore everything, but this, that and this
Of course I could do regex replace of everything to ignore, but it's pain in ass to maintain. I'd looking for something like
everything ignore
button1 dothing1
button2 dothing2

cache-secs for the seconds. It's a different kind of cache, so to speak of. They don't share data.

That may be more reasonable yes.

I see. Thanks!

HOW TO DISABLE SCROLL SEEK?

WHEEL_UP add volume 5
WHEEL_DOWN add volume -5

replace "add volume" with "ignore", paste those into imput.conf

Wow look that guy from the previous thread predicted the future

link?

>

there is no wheele key : /
mpv --input-keylist

stream a video
touch touchpad by accident
fuuuuuuuuuuuuug

Yeah I disabled that shit so fast
Removed the bar too, so I've only got the text at the top left
Try this
mpv --input-test --force-window --idle

#Alt+0 set window-scale 0.5
#Alt+1 set window-scale 1.0
#Alt+2 set window-scale 2.0
to
#Alt+1 set window-scale 0.5
#Alt+2 set window-scale 1.0
#Alt+3 set window-scale 2.0
when

Look up here, a few last posts. It depends on your mpv version, it seems. BTW, how do you link to another thread (not post) on this mongolian fishing forum?
thread/62603975

tx
MOUSE_BTN3 ignore
MOUSE_BTN4
in my case

ye it would be better to be disabled for laptop touchpads

>SSimDownscaler.glsl
Is this one good? It's not mentioned on the wiki but can be found on igv's page.

github.com/mpv-player/mpv/blob/master/etc/input.conf
ye user was right about wheel up down
idk why its different in my case

you copy link of No of op

>you copy link of No of op
thanks user

shameless self-bump

>shiieeet
i used this
= cycle video-unscaled
- cycle-values window-scale 0.5 2.0 1.5 1.0
should rtfm again

Anyone has the "history" script on the user-script page the link is down
>- cycle-values window-scale 0.5 2.0 1.5 1.0
why cycle values instead of setting them?
>shameless self-bump
request on github
Yes but you it doesn't feel that different than using adaptive sharpen

>why cycle values instead of setting them?
i liked one key and didnt know of the default thing

Is FSRCNN-MQ better than the VLQ and LQ one?
github.com/igv/FSRCNN-TensorFlow/releases

I would imagine so? Do some comparisons
I'll do some for myself after my movie is over
if I feel up to it tonight

I can't see any real differences. :(

Actually speaking of comparisons is it possible to swap shaders with a hotkey yet?

Why you removed mentions of "incorrect results"?

It is!
Found this in the archives
cycle-values opengl-shaders "~~/shaders/FSRCNN_32-4-1_x2.glsl" "~~/shaders/SSimSuperRes.glsl"

That was a pre-release

how's fsrcnn *compute* version coming along? does it really bring a big speed up?

Are mpv users stupid fosstards or anarchists?

Neither hopefully

Im neither WTF!

>scripts, command lines, config files to play vid
autism in its purist form.

The only autistic ones here are the ones that prefer to click little boxes and watch them light up, rather than making their own config

whats the difference between thses three:
1. FSRCNN-MQ
2. FSRCNN-LQ
3. FSRCNN-VLQ

Reminder that the official player of mpv is the Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display.

medium quality, low quality, very low quality (within the shader).

i think my GTX 750Ti cant handle it. i have red frametimings.

With or without interpolation?

without.

Forget about timings. Look at dropped/delayed frames.

dropped frames 0.
im using the LQ

Then youre fine.

Update stats.lua

using the MQ give me dropped frames in output.

updated.
no more red frametimings.

MQ looks good, almost as good as SSSR
Excited to see HQ and possibly VHQ

It doesn't have half pixel shift anymore? Doesn't look any better than LQ to be honest. Less aliasing in one place, more in another. Same with ringing.

Do you guys run KrigBilateral?
I wanted to test it out with SSSR so I threw it in Photoshop
There's some definite differences but overall to my eyes all it seems to be doing is adding some kind of noise or distortion

Actually I might be wrong, that distortion I thought I was seeing might just be details it's bringing out in the scene
What do you guys think?

...

It's useless for high res video

github.com/mpv-player/mpv/commits/master

Yeah? I guess I could probably drop it then, I very seldom watch sub 1080p video

Its a chroma shader so difference is not nearly as noticeable as with luma (other shaders). Most people wont notice ANY difference with various chroma scalers. One retard just spammed his config with KrigBilateral, SSSR and some other shit and other retard copied it.

is it happening?

Good job. Still useless on Windows, right?

Yeah the difference is extremely minute, those screenshots were at around 600% zoom

You mostly only can tell the difference in pictures with red color in them. Other than for red color chroma doesn't matter that much. Just use default scaler of opengl-hq or ewa_lanczos/soft.

Good to know, thanks
