Strange .mp3 file

Everything is so wrong.
>Looking for "The last stand" by Sabaton
>launch Songr and start searching for it
>first and only relevant result is from Dilandau.me
>everytime i download from there something strange happens
>whatever, i don't want to use youtube2mp3
>Songr reports a file size of 4,3MB
>Start download
>finish in less than 1 second
>very strange since my internet is 500kb/s
>open the song
>windows media player freezes for 5 seconds and then starts playing
>quality is acceptableOOOOMYGODWHATISTHIS
>bitrate is 24kbps
>look at file size
>740kb
what kind of wizardry is this?

OP here, just noticed that while opening the file, windows media player's cpu usage spikes at 30% to decrease at 10% after a few seconds.
10% is still a lot considering other songs only use from 1% to 3% of my cpu

Better prepare cause your pc will gtfo.

OP again,
the plot thickens,
>Adobe Premiere refuse it
>Davinci Resolve refuse it
>Magix video pro X accept it but as a 0,5 second long mute audio file
continuing the investigation

Retard not using torrents to download music.

Literally there's private trackers , vpns, ssl and proxies to let you download shit in high quality.

Even vinyl rips.

OP is a retard, listening to compressed music with shit quality

You sound like someone trying to make a shitty bait, yet lacking the English proficiency. Let me give you some advice:

Open in hex editor and check out who PWN3D you.

It's a me, OP,
VLC seems to have no problems with it in terms of cpu usage, no freeze either
320kbps mp3 are enough for me, i'm not some autistic audiophile with 3000$ of audio equipment, otherwise i would buy music instead of pirating it

or even better, just use soulseek

MediaInfo is your friend.

Throw it into virustotal, I am mildly curious about this

Literally the first result when you search Sabaton on any public torrent site is that album at 320.

Even Sonic Visualizer is being a douchebag

How about AUDACITY?

dumb fucken idiots

the file is a stream link

windows media player lags a bit opening it since it has to connect and buffer

the file is so fucken small because its just a stream link, not the actual full download

upload the fucking file so we can see what's in it

No you massive faggot, 700kb for a streaming link is stupid, it works offline too btw, just tried it
Virus total sais it's clean, but count it as an mp4a instead of mp3

>it's an AAC file with the extension changed to mp3

Here's the file, pls keep in mind that it's clearly something fishy, download it at your own risk
use the google url shortener link and add
/dAhrVg
Maybe you are right, it works plays even changing the format from mp3 to aac.
Anyway the quality is very good for a 4 minute song of 700kb. Is it normal for aac?

>Anyway the quality is very good for a 4 minute song of 700kb. Is it normal for aac?

Yes because apple is the best, unlike what these poorfag luddites on Sup Forums would have you believe

AAC wasn't even developed by Apple, you autistic ebin bait troller.

>the Apple Audio Codec wasn't developed by Apple
Sure thing retard

>look mom I'm pretending to be retarded on the internets
Okay, here's your (you).

>use the google url shortener link and add
>/dAhrVg

Okay so goo.gl/dAhrVg

AAC is a file format for storing music or other sounds. It stands for Advanced Audio Coding or Advanced Audio Codec. It is used by Apple Inc. in the iPod and iTunes. AAC is one of the standard formats that comes from the MPEG organization, the same people who invented MP3.
simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/AAC

You'd better hope that your post is bait kid

>wikipedia
AHAHAHAH
nice source, faggot

>implying
opus-codec.org/comparison/

Not just wikipedia, but simple.wikipedia, the wikipedia that retards use.

Thanks for confirming that you're really this retarded, kiddo.

>literally zero advantages over MP3 or AAC on bitrates with music transparency
Only virgin freetards actually use and promote Opus for anything other than low-bitrate streaming applications.

for human speech it outperforms both by a large margin

anybody downloaded it yet ?
I did, in a VM with Tor, tried to run it under Sandboxie, it failed to do so. Anyway, it doesn't seem like anything phishy. OP are you sure your system isn't broken ?

>downloading random .mp3s from seemslegit.ru and playing them on windows media player

What year is it

OP here, i'm alive, the file is fine, everything is fine.
Thanks for helping me sorting that out
>I just downloaded some obscure flac from a private tracker and now i'm going to play it in my dinosaur laptop running my personally riced arch linux operative system because it's 2017 and it's the year of the linux desktop, microshaft wangblows is gay

>>Windows media player
>> 2017
>> Sup Forums

does the music sounds better if i use another software?

>using two ">" to quote
Your first post?

>downloading anything but flac

open it as a textfile dumbfuck, I copied a streaminglink once and it was around 2mb.

it's a fucking mp3, have you even read the thread?

>simple.wiki
AHAHAHAHA ROFL REKT

no??? its a conspiracy

the government is spying on me

so? open it as a fucking text file

now what?

unless there's a string of code there that looks suspicious, it's nothing worry about, WMP has always been shit anyways

use vim

werks. It's a 24kbps track it seems, quality is pure shit.

Ayyy op!! Good taste

>shellcode
>i'll embed it
>no one will ever know

ayy for sabaton

>Sabaton
>Good

>shilling vpns, ssl and proxies
>Not using rutracker for normie music

>songr
>no deezer downloader
You deserved dumbass

I downloaded the file, plays just fine
VLC says it's a Nero AAC codec / 1.5.4.0

show's exactly the same faggot

>not getting your albums from 3rd world blogspots
>2017
