Samsung should quit making phones

iPhone SE is over one year old yet it's twice as fast as the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 and it costs HALF THE PRICE of an S8.

Why is Samsung still making phones? They suck at it. They should stick to making fridges and washing machines.

PS: Can't wait for all the Samshit nuthuggers to defend these slow-as-shit "Galaxy" phones.

It’s for poor people desu

run C program on bare metal and see how samsung pwn SE

>SE gets btfo in most of the tests
>takes more than twice as long to load pokemon go
>people actually think that it is as powerful as the S8 still
Full on delusion.

>being this butthurt over TRUTH
sup pajeet,,, how's it going?

What's that? No answer to why an application that runs better on iOS took twice as long to load?

Here's some more nuggets of truth for you. Some of those applications on the Android, like Amazon, had animations in them that were not present in the iOS version that he waited to finish before he counted them as finished loading, which is bollocks.
He turned off animations in the system settings for this very reason and then ignored the fact that the applications themselves had different loading animations between the versions.

>he's still trying to justify slow-as-shit Samshit phone's performance...
dude... just stop.
Samsung is infamous for faking benchmarks. They've been caught so many times because their CPUs are total fucking shit.

Yet SOMEHOW it runs latest iOS slow. HMMM.

Seriously ?
My mom has a SE, should I tell her to avoid the update ?

>Apple shills
>Samsung shills
>both arguing like retards

kms

It's two years old actually. Also S8 sucking compared to SE isn't an issue for Samsung because iOS users don't care about lagdroid and vice versa. It has enough to sell to people who want a lagdroid phone, so Samsung is objectively doing nothing wrong.

If you're comparing a chip older than two years with one from a recent flagship that costs more than twice as much, the animation excuse is pathetic. S8 should've absolutely obliterate a $350 phone with a SOC from 2015.

Stop falling for memers. It's fine. Battery life seems a bit worse though, so waiting isn't a horrible idea either.

>Battery life seems a bit worse though
The state of Applel.

it's a much smaller phone, you retard.

fuck off apple shill

The most shocking part is how bad the Samshit RAM management is. Doesn't it have twice the RAM? How could you possible fuck shit up badly enough to lose against an older phone with lesser RAM?

>twice as fast
and locked down so you can't use for anything else than dumb games, maybe Apple should start making phones you can actually use, sage

This

(((Ackerman)))

that

twice as fast in what?

this

ultrakek

>Samsung is infamous for faking benchmarks. They've been caught so many times because their CPUs are total fucking shit.
Yeah, but these aren't synthetic benchmarks.
Sorry about that. Your post is completely worthless.

>an os update that can't be rolled back reduces battery life

>issues with one app while raping S8 in all others are indicative for performance
>and then raping the corpse of S8 in multitasking and loading pokemon go instantly leaves any doubts

>If you're comparing a chip older than two years with one from a recent flagship that costs more than twice as much, the animation excuse is pathetic.
Animations take a set amount of time which is why they turn them off for speed comparison tests.
If I put a 20 second animation in the loading of my Android app and not in the iOS app then the Android app will always spend at least 20 seconds running the animation, so even if it takes half a second to load the application while it takes 5 on iOS it'll still spend another 20 seconds in the animation.

Animations aren't a pathetic excuse. Using applications that don't use the same animations on both platforms when doing speed tests like this is pathetic.

It's amazing that phones is the thing people decide to make a status thing. They're toys whose price differs by a couple hundred dollars at most

The loading of Pokemon GO the first time is the best straight up test of CPU and storage performance in the first round of tests and I'm sorry if you are too much of a brainlet to understand that.

Updates do tend to cause issues on any platform, hence most people wait with updating. At least with iOS you have the choice and support won't be dropped soon.

This means the android version of the app is worse due not taking the effort to optimise things, which will affect your user experience when using android.

The guy in the video said he deactivated animations/reduced motions for both, (and had performance mode one) so all this shows is that android is horrible even without touchjizz.

Given how only result was completely inconsistent with the others, it's more likely to be caused by a specific app and not the hardware. To confirm your theory, they'd have to redo the test.

If you want to bitch about a singular issue, does it mean that shit on S8 crashes because Temple Run did?

>The guy in the video said he deactivated animations/reduced motions for both
Yes, but the when you disable animations in Android that's all the system animations, that doesn't count any animations you build into your application.
For example, watch Amazon loading on the S8. See how the search bar animates in from the right. On iOS it's just a stock UI search bar.

Sure but this means the android app sucks (which is often the case, even for Google stuff) which in turn matters for the real experience you're getting in real use.

That's what the shitty test is about, not synthetic benchmarks. Though if I recall these right, A9 still slays in single core performance and SE got faster NVMe storage.

>applefag gets BTFO on his shitty for-profit amateur YouTube "proof"
>time to grab those goalposts
>just kidding it's not the samsung hardware that's shit, it's the google software haha
At this point all you're saying is that one single app on the Google store is worse than the same on the Apple store. Who gives a fuck? That's represantitve of poor design by whoever made the app. Just pick different software if you don't like it (something android is far better at actually letting you do.)

>applefag gets BTFO on his shitty for-profit amateur YouTube "proof"
You mean the video where the guy creams about S8 despite it being slower?

>just kidding it's not the samsung hardware that's shit, it's the google software haha
Not at all, both are inferior (outside of multicore performance in benchmarks and RAM size), in some things the issues with software are just more impactful. Besides, different software causes different issues. The shitty RAM management is caused by lagdroid and pretty much unfixable while shitty app loading times or crashes can depend on singular apps and could theoretically be fixed.

>Who gives a fuck?
The reality in which most apps on iOS are less shit, as shown in these or any other real performance test.

And again, we're comparing a flagship from 2017 with a poorfag phone from 2015 for half the price, the fact that there is any discussion about these is an embarrassment for Samshit.

so can the iphone SE emulate gamecube games?

It has a 4-inch screen, why would you do that?

because my s8 plus can so if it cannot it means the s8 is faster

Can your s8 run iOS 11?

What a stupid argument you're making lol

i mean taken raw specs it probably could but tje iphone se couldnt emulate gamecube games and you know it

Use for what

Doesn't is not the same as can't.

via specs it couldnt

The raw specs are about the same plus SE has much fewer pixels to push around. If the emulators don't use multiple cores as well, SE is probably faster. Not quite sure about Appleles GPUs but resolution should balance that out.

>the raw specs are about the same

i doubt that and dolphin absolutely uses at least 2 cores

1440p vs 720p

Hmmm

and? it's a new generation!

Why is this a surprise? Apple has always been at the head of the pack when it comes to processors; nobody denies this. Samsung is only good at cameras (the OLED displays are ok, they're sharp but horrible with color compared to the iphones)

An iPhone SE apparently being half the price of an S8 is for rich people or is it too for poor people?

kids of rich people

> buy SE
> things open fast
> but nothing can fit on the small screen

Good job! Way to go.
If you said 7 Plus or 8 Plus, okay. But the SE is really just for people who have money, no brains/tech skills and want a smartphone. It's just perfect. But for anyone else, it's a gimmick.

>the update shrinks the phone
the actual state of apple products

B T F O

Stfu u fucking pajeet, get the fuck out of here with your bait

I'd sooner wear a star of David than be seen carrying anything with an Apple logo.
