Closed source double botnet

...

It does just as well as chrome and you can customize the key shortcuts.

I don’t think it’s going to become ,assume, but I hope it doesn’t die

>The good:
- displays size of webpage while loading
- very customizable
- great addon support because chromium based
- interesting gesture concept

>The bad:
- selects text while holding middle mouse button to scroll, wtf
- some animation like the new tab, tab closed feel sluggish
- UI animations in general feel a bit slow
- UI feels bloated, there is the top bar, the side bar, the bar at the bottom and too much stuff in the titlebar
- feels bloated as a result of the last 3
- not
- free
- software

the gay browser

Why double? Aren't you thinking of Opera?
How do you show/hide bottom bar? I don't have it somehow.
Btw, if you click and not hold scroll you won't select any text.

>How do you show/hide bottom bar?
Pic related
>UI feels bloated, there is the top bar, the side bar, the bar at the bottom and too much stuff in the titlebar
The interface is all html/css/js. If you don't like it you can literally change anything you want without too much effort.

>what are your thoughts?
not open source enough senpai

You are again confusing Vivaldi with Opera.

Best UI in browser history.

I like it.

source cose is open, it's just not open development

Love this meme, naysayers can't even get their shit right. Source code has been open for over a year, you're just not allowed to directly contribute.
All you had to do was google for 2 seconds, faglord.

>- selects text while holding middle mouse button to scroll, wtf
No it doesn't, what are you on? Never did that for me.
>- some animation like the new tab, tab closed feel sluggish
Some do, but those never did for me. I'll still give you the fact that some others do seem slow/clunky though.
>- UI animations in general feel a bit slow
Same point as before.
>- UI feels bloated, there is the top bar, the side bar, the bar at the bottom and too much stuff in the titlebar
You can easily disable all of those with simple options, you don't even need to edit text files like with Firefox. It's easy as fuck even a Mactoddler could do it.
>- feels bloated as a result of the last 3
Realistically, there's only 2 points, not 3. One of them is easily disabled, the other is fair criticism.
>- not
>- free
>- software
It's not free, but it is open source if you actually looked for it. It's just not on faghub.

>selects text while scrolling
what the fuck, I never noticed that but you're right

>vivaldi.com/source/
>Source code has been open for over a year
I LOVE this meme
The fact of the matter is, the source is open for a few of the elements it's built with. Vivaldi is neither free as in freedom nor open-source

It's the best browser for any power-user. It's not even a discussion, do you want sharply tuned features that work better than any firefox addon or do you want firefox with 30 broken and bad addons, or simply chrome with no functionality and the same addon problem

Its mascot is pretty shitty and seeing it on the error messages prevents me from using it as my main browser

Can't watch Faceberg videos. How am I supposed to OD on normie memes?
