who the fuck uses this

memelords with fast computers

also people

Is this lo/g/os 2.0?
Do we need a new logo?

How do I install anime tiddies?

...

Yo yo yo, what about font rendering? Currently I use openpepe with namtrac or something font config package which renders nice fonts.

>BSD distro
>devs run OS X

Infinality

Mkay, I shall give it a shot then.
Gracias, ese.

Anyone have a logos iso?

...

Considering gentoo is source based, can't you just compile libreetype with the patent-restricted anti-aliasing and shit?
That's what namtrac does anyway.

packages.gentoo.org/packages/media-libs/freetype

I think cleartype_hinting should be it.
The reason why it has to be compiled out by most distributions is that Microsoft owns some patents pertaining to subpixel rendering and hinting. Which is ironic because Windows font rendering is absolute shit.

I guess I should make some more anime clover backgrounds. We should also come up with an OS-tan for CloverOS.

...

lewd

I use it.

I don't know if it's firefox or 4chanX, but my memory usage increases for some reason when I'm browsing Sup Forums on only 1-2 tabs. Not sure what the issue is.

there should be a zsh alias to connect a terminal client to chiru.no, because I'm too retarded to figure it out.

>gentoo
you faggots seriously compile everything from source?

read the OP, everything uses the binary repo. You don't compile from source, unless you set portage to use the source repos instead.

It's a browser, user.
Browsers are memory hogs

Very rough sketch of CloverOS-tan. Hope this will gauge some interest in refining her design.

Perhaps. My T410 was also having memory spikes. CloverOS uses ESR 52 right?

alias chiru.no "mpv chiru.no:8081/stream.flac"

I was hoping to use something like mpc or ncmpcpp, but that will work as an alternative.

We need more papers showcasing legs and feet and less DDD tiddies

Gimp is installed by default. Remember to upload your papes to cloverOS booru.

stop forcing your shitty distribution is just a fucking gentoo stage cuz you couldn't even do an LFS like a real man.

alias chiru.no "mpv chiru.no:8081/stream.flac & ncmpcpp -h chiru.no"

alias chiru.no "mpv chiru.no:8081/stream.flac & gmpc"

If it weren't for CloverOS, I wouldn't have installed gentoo, I would still be using Arch.

- Anonymous testamonial

for some reason ncmpcpp was asking for a password. I thought I could just connect to host/port, but I guess not.

Why should I use this over debian?

faster

>OS X
>devs run Temple OS

faster, more recent software, USE flags that cut down on bloat, and a binary host so you don't have to compile software on your own.

>Poettering free
But you still have libatasmart and libcanberra.

Is there a background for 16:10 displays?
Want to try this on my x201

I couldnt install the other day because the installer wouldnt respond to my keyboard inputs. It worked fine in a virtual machine but not on real hardware. Sad!

This is a problem I had with a gentoo iso, it only happened on one machine (fx-8320 machine). I got around it by using a ps/2 keyboard which worked fine.

check the cloverOS booru

just use gentoo

what do you think I'm using?

I dont think i have a ps/2 keyboard. Not that it matters since the pc has no ports for that.

CloverOS devs please fix.

it was a design feature to make you more productive

but I don't want to work on my project, 10 page essay, and job interview. I just want to shitpost on Laotian underwater basket weaving forums.

bump for fix

What bit net would I be a part of?

Bump for fix part 2

thotOS

I like your distro.

Are you adding it to Distrowatch?

sudo poweroff
stabilE firefox instead of Chrome knockoff
you can install one
ask the dev
how do you think it works in the first place?

Long time since I've seen ASCII art on here.

>cowtits

There actually was an ascii art thread on Sup Forums a week ago. They even posted C program art that you could actually compile and use.
who are you quoting?

You got an archive link?

nah, check the booru. I have some that I haven't uploaded yet.

Cool idea, but it's pretty badly documented. I might use it once you guys start to take it seriously.

what are some things that can be done to improve CloverOS?

what tty console is being used? I'm wondering why characters aren't being displayed properly on my banner.
