Hong Kong, China

this picture isn't even bad looking, especially the cars, you can clearly see Muscovites are actuall quite wealthy

Damn, these don't look very good in daylight. The corkscrew one looks kinda out of place too

...

Do you feel lonely in these threads, mr poleman? I barely see any anons in your threads.

...

there are a lot of posters actually, just a bit of later

I was there once. The whole place looks out of place tbqh. Russia is not a place for skyscrapers.

I honestly don't really like the Moscow towers

well it's out of place as it's a new district it didn't really grow into the city that well yet

you have to start somewhere after all

And it won't grow to anything else. It now looks how it was planned to. Every land around is filled with historical building that jobody will demolish or even sell.

you what?

HK

I would choose Moscow. Any chinese city is just soulless mall.

it's just your lack of knowledge, HK is not "soulless" at all

>30 skyscrapers
>1000 skyscrapers

Wow wonder which one is better

And that are slums that are being demolished everyday and living there is like living in any other slums-shit.

Handzhou

The funny thing is Moscow has twice bigger population than Hong Kong.

>Hong Kong
free market urban planning

>Moscow
commie urban planning

vote for Hong Kong

Guangzhou has 131 skyscrapes. Beautiful

That's not how it works, otherwise Sao Paulo would be in the top 5.

>Having wide streets is something bad.

Skyscrapes arouse me. I want to shove every single skyscrape up to my bum XD
This is the future, and peasants like me keep living in void villages.
Shame.

Pretty sure Moscow City is a hundred times more soulless than Hong Kong actually

Moscow city is prettyuch just one mall that is less than 1 sq. km. Hong Kong though is the whole like that.

I've been to Hong Kong and I can tell you that it's not the case at all. If anything Hong Kong is probably the most vibrant city in East Asia.

Welllll

>Belgium

So what? Two can play at the game

HK
K

I think they look really good regardless. Corkscrew one also adds some needed diversity to it.

Is there anything Russian you like

If we talk about actual Moscow then no, that won't work. Commieblocks are much comfier here.

Aww yiss weekly /urban/ thread. Checkin' in before i sleep

Depends on what you guys think soul is, if you think history = soul, then moscow would be better than HK given its long history. But moscow today is a tottering drunk old man next to HK's dynamism and optimism. Idk, but i prefer that version of the soul: a young city in the constant process of self-discovery of its chinese roots and redefinition of its present identity.

In that regard, i think HK is very much more self-aware of its soul than Moscow, which has no doubt already taken it for granted, like our rusposter implies.

Moscow > """"""""hong kong"""""""""

If you think otherwise you are an idiot.

>""""""""hong kong"""""""""
What did he mean by this?

Asian cities lack calmness, open space and classical architecture. That's something glamour and glass with concrete can't give to you.

...

>Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China

Rullar på tungan

These new areas have plenty of open space to the point it's pointless

Finally this thread is back. OP you said "tomorrow" last time and then never posted again. I'm here for Hong Kong, my favourite city in the world atm.

I'll post some more OC later when I'm back from work.

skyscrapers don't make the city more beautiful, if everything around is just bad and grey.

I'll be back later. hope the thread is still alive.

Too bad looks are the only positive thing about the city

where are the slums you are talking about?
well when it comes to Dubai apparently all their skyscrapers are worth nothing so people don't care about their amount
Sao Paulo has only 15 skyscrapers proper, they just have a sea of highrise apartments, just like in Moscow
>If anything Hong Kong is probably the most vibrant city in East Asia.
This fucking this I have no idea what is this Russian talking about I've never seen anyone unironically calling Hong Kong "soulless". The city has it's very unique vibe.

Not to mention that Moscow is actually destroying it's "soul" every 100 years.
>Finally this thread is back. OP you said "tomorrow" last time and then never posted again.
Got b& sorry.

Then enjoy your poor wage. I don't care about, if there is lots of foreigners living here. Most of them are from Europe or the US. And it gives this city a decent vibe, much more libertarian than all the other places. There are really decent parts of the city. It's not without a reason under top 10 best living quality.

>HK doesn't have soul

Daily reminder

yes take some retard from Sup Forums and make up it's me

fucking awful

Is "soul" the worst buzzword of Sup Forums?

WTF i hate koreaboo now

...

>Moscow getting CHINK'D this hard

not me this guy on the picture is a Norgeboo from Kraków
ok

lol

it's you

post you own face then, with timestamp :^)

>>Hong Kong
>free market urban planning

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

no it's you, post your face with timestamp

That's some gypsy style architecture.

I'm not polish so i doubt it

It's you

Lmao poor wages

Living costs are also much higher than in pretty much every other German city except for Munich. Just because you "get" more doesn't mean you have more. See Australia and Norway.
It's dirty, full of gypsies and homeless people (for which they keep several main trainstations open to sleep in and even get protected by the police).

Don't forget that it's boring as fuck.

Top 10 best living quality according to 1 index. Congratulations, just like Munich and Düsseldorf

>"soul" the worst buzzword
Yes
That and
>heartless

t. Russian

History

China has 4x more history than your Russia

>muh cyborpunk

It looks like fucking shit

Triggered Chinese-hating user has appeared

Well, I get 2000€ more here than in another city. These 300€ more euros rent doesn't even matter.

And why do you care about the subway? Do you want to sleep there? It's closed anyway at this time. And they do the same in Munich and other cities.

lol

hahahaha

Är denna neger seriös?

I don't even hate China, I just hate shitty cyberpunk esthetics and the retarded fanboys this genre spawns.

Usually there is a good 20-30 anons who will post and discuss

Exactly what is it you hate about cyberpunk aesthetics?

this desu. HK is the definition of "soul" to me, It has so much (positive) energy, people are out and about and it has its very own charm. I really loved HK I hope I can move there one day.

I understand it's easy to hate but cyberpunk is pretty cool t b h

Dismal poverty, squalor and concrete slabs of shit with some neon kitsch slapped on presented as someting aesthetic.

Well, it is pretty aesthetic. Can't be helped.

What about the clean kind, as seen in Japan?

>The funny thing is Moscow has twice bigger population than Hong Kong.

No not really, they're about the same but HK's population is way denser. A regular apartment block in HK is 50 stories tall. I was there this spring
