My country's opinion on salmiakki is tha they taste great eaten every now and then, but especially good when you mix them with other (fruity) candies and enjoy them while having a hangover of your life.

when you say "salty" I assume you mean it's both sweet and salty? like salted caramel but liquorice? Because just raw liquorice with salt would be fucking nauseating.
