Yes, just found one job, you will get a lot more money.
ProTip: avoid begin programming and goes mananger, product design, marketing or machine learning.

this really happen?
What? Do you even English?
I'm going to my first competition in two weeks at ICPC Cinci, but I have fuckall idea how to solve any of these logic puzzles, and my actual programming knowledge is still too basic to even properly implement solutions - at least within competition time limits. (Admittedly, I'm only vaguely familiar with C/C++, but should probably be studying Python, too.)
i went to one of them, you get free energy food while programming and then more free stuff later. worth it.
also i was the pajet of my group without any skills, feels good to be p referenced for your skin color.

If you learn induction begin equivalent to recursion, if you learn recursion you could learn algorithms, data structure and way to design algorithms as dynamic programming.
Contest begin more mathematics and design algorithms that coding
Usually contest begin 2 easy implement problems,3 - 4 medium problem on diverse topics, graph, combinatoria, dynamic programming special data structures. And last problems very hard or special topics usually one problem begins unable to solven in 5 hours.

Biggest school champions on world.
Another courses on coursera as princeton or Stanford in algorithms.
Use C++ to competitions get more rapid IO plus data structure build it.
Focus on solvent hard problems over a lot easy problems
icpcarchive.ecs.baylor.edu
Archive on past contest around world could submit code and get judge about it.
Because you will fail, just tried solved 2 problems, check your region on icpcarchive.ecs.baylor.edu and make past year problems, if you fails don't worry people get world champions had thousands submit problems years training and a lot books on math and algorithms plus programming.
What about ctfs
i got put in a programming competition with a group unwillingly (i barely knew any languages at the time, my group just assumed i was a tech guy) so all i did was loiter, get free IBM branded shit, and eat lots of food.
Those are for the ascended.

most competition and hackathons are just companies fishing for free ideas for apps, you just got screwed out of $100k that a freelance dev would have got for a weeks worth of work

>tfw no one never used them
Actually only kids had basic paint/word/browsing classes
What the fuck. Giving turd worlders internet access was a massive mistake. Internet should only be in America and western Europe.

>Lower classroom size seen as the ideal because it means professors have more time to dedicate to individual students' struggles
>Larger classroom size comes from budgets being unable to provide the requisite number of professors for the demand for the class
