It's a meme. Windows 10 is perfect. Updates install behind the scenes and I've never seen a BSOD for years. If you can't run Windows properly you must be retarded in every way.

But yeah I usually do just turn off my laptop rather than shutting it down. I never update and only use Windows for a few specific things, which isn't all that often.

I still use windows 7. Windows 3.1 was my first when I was a kid in the early 90s and then the transition to 95 was a crazy big deal. It was just what we all did. Mac wasn't really much of a thing in schools around here that I went to I remember ones like Pic related and Gateway 2000 machines. You would sometimes have apple II machines but they were mostly just for really old games and were practically free for the schools anyway. But yeah I've not really used 10 much since I don't have it on any of my own computers. Dunno what I'll do as far as maybe moving over to linux eventually or 10 won't seem like an annoying piece of shit by then, I dunno.
