OS Sierra

I see that Apple has released a new operating system... OS High Sierra. After updating my iPhone 6 to the new iOS, I am reluctant to update my computer because I want it to remain fast.

I am wondering how long Apple will support OS Sierra?

High Sierra is fine, you shouldn't get any slowdown coming from Sierra.

#JustAppleThings

they still make yall pay for updates?

>Apple
Found your problem.

I'm on a 2010 baseline macbook pro and high sierra runs perfectly smooth for me.
You'll be fine OP

The UI has been rewritten in Metal 2, and if you have a flash based Mac, you'll be upgraded to APFS, so if anything your computer will be noticeably faster.

They've been free a long time

Not since Mountain Lion.

My personal opinion, wait till the first update of High Sierra and then lurk online what everybody has said about it.
I never update right away.

They made you pay for upgrades, just like Microsoft did with Windows. Now they are free like said.
Updates where always free though.

>apple product
>"""""""""""""upgrade"""""""""""
>faster

LMAO

its a feature though

>macshit

Found your problem.

>notification centre is still light despite choosing dark menu bar & dock

>Unsupported Mac

Wut, seriously? I have Sierra and it's dark.

The AppleFS machine has a custom bootloader that takes 14 seconds more to get to the same point.
Why are Appleshit haters always such tech illiterates?

Absolutely. Longer boot time was intentionally designed so you can spend it on socializing.
Apple makes you popular and desirable.

>appletoddler calling anyone else tech illiterate

lmao

>I am wondering how long Apple will support OS Sierra?
OS High Sierra will be supported through April, 2020.

...

Point me to where I said I use Apple and didn't call it literary Appleshit.
I can't shit on Apple faggots if you make tech illiterate posts about the subject, as then all of them seem just underage babbling. If you want to shit one someone, do it properly.
