Can somebody compile a version of windows 10 with absolutely ZERO bloatware? Even LTSB has a bunch of unnecessary bullshit in it. I just want a barebones OS that respects my privacy and doesn't shove obscure apps down my throat, and yes I've already tried linux and didn't like it.
Can somebody compile a version of windows 10 with absolutely ZERO bloatware...
Kill yourself

It's possible if you've got the source code user

It's time for you to embrace the iBenis First Fag Church. They only want your money, and your soul.
just delete explorer.exe and enjoy your debloatet experience watching your wallpaper
The last version of windows with zero bloatware is version 95. (bloatware on top of windows which is already bloatware i meant)
I'm afraid that even Microsoft themselves don't fully understand how Windows works. It's such a huge bloated mess that's worked on by several departments worth of programmers that I can only imagine that there's some sort of internal mass compilation system that only a few people know how it even runs. They could release the source code for W10 tomorrow and it would take years before the general public could compile a working copy.
Why don't you rip the bloatware out yourself?
I recently upgraded to creators update and it comes with considerably more bloat.
Still managed to kill 98% of it in 3 hours work. Can't be assed to remove any more now, will probably keep doing it as I go.
Idle RAM usage went from 1.8 GiB to 0.9 so I must be doing something right.
How?
>Still managed to kill 98% of it in 3 hours work
Looks like using windows is now a bigger timesink than using Arch or Gentoo.
Microshit btfo
Just Google how to remove specific things.
I can give you some pointers:
- warhawk debloat script is a great start with a ton of useful things; not everything is up to date with creators,
- oosu10, blackbird, spybot anti-beacon for telemetry (do this last, blackbird is kinda destructive and will disable some windows functions you may have to use to perform other steps)
- browse services, disable what you don't use and prevent it from starting up,
- browse group policies, enable/disable what you like,
- browse windows components, remove what you don't use,
- browse startup/context menu/send to, remove what you don't use
- kill ribbon (if you're into that, I absolutely hate it myself)
etc, etc.
It's simple really, just watch what's running that you don't want running, then google how to get rid of it.
As long as you're on an administrator account nothing's impossible (including fucking up your windows installation, so be wary of that).
Good luck.
Try Windows 10 LTSB
>Arch
>Gentoo
Those take months, not hours
here you fucking niggers
You can make you own custom configured image using microsoft's own provisioning tools.

Ask Microsoft to release the source code or modify Winshit yourself, faggot.
