Trying to follow this guide on fixing my AK7 K7XX's. I have two pairs that have this exact same problem.
I am having an issue with soldering, I have never done it before but am watching some tutorials online, however it seems impossible to solder to the wire to the metal rods that stick out.
I am basically getting the solder into the wiring, then the ends of the wire turns hard, so I have a piece of wiring with both ends covered in hard solder, then I try to connect it to the metal rods, but the solder doesn't really become liquid again to morph with the rod, or it just kind of falls down and doesn't stick. Look at pic related, I need to solder red circle to the metal rod below it, did I fuck it up with too much solder?
Also at the end of the imgur, he used a different type of cabling, can anyone tell me where to get it? I google headphone cables but it looks different.

How do I unfuck my Firefox general options?
I have Win10 and installed Firefox x64. I had an old version of the 32 bit version, installed the 64 bit, and then removed the 32 (as suggested by their help page). I started it with my old profile, and tried making a new profile as well. The general options page is broken either way.
When I open settings, I see what's in the pic. It's like the search engine options but unpopulated. Clicking the other pages works. Then if I return to general, whatever was up before stays up.
If I buy a Sup Forums pass, will it always show that I got one (with the little icon next to anonymous) or is it configurable?
Reason I ask is that I'd buy one, but I feel like, since not many people have them, I'd stick out in a thread and no longer be able to reply to myself :^)

If you're going to do at least one other thing, then 736 is evil and you should avoid it at all costs. 900p or above.
I use upnpc to forward a port because I don't have access to the router. Occasionally that port gets closed for some reason, so I'll need to reforward that port. What's a good way to do this automatically? I guess spamming the router with requests to open that port every minute isn't going to be smart.

Look up some simple soldering tutorials my dude, it's pretty simple after you know the basics, but you burned out all the flux in the solder it seems (it's all good you can just add more solder) although you should probably invest in a bit of extra flux or maybe just melt the existing solder off and try to add new solder

I have a 1366x768 resolution laptop and it's absolutely fine, it takes some getting used to with the way websites are laid out in this resolution though, since I was coming from 1080p. I'm used to it now and going back to 1080p is weird.

I know there's IFTT webhooks and some paid service called Pushover, but is there something free(ish) that just lets met do:

Faster is better, obviously, but if you think 3200MHz is too expensive, there isn't much difference between 3200 and 3000MHz. 2666MHz is the point where you start getting diminishing returns, generally speaking.
