Also sorry for my earlier behaviour i was having seizure if yo want to learn c use that book that everybody reads its actually good.its like the c programming language i think

The fuck...

I second this. I also read the first few chapters of Primer, but felt Stroustroup was a better writer. Their content is pretty much the same, Primer is a little faster paced, but again I felt this one was higher quality overall. Feel free to skip the graphics section though... ;)

you think learning sepples will make you a good c programmer?

The "C" Programming Language and online resources.

Learning C or C++ from a book is fucking retarded OP. Learn from online resources and then read the books written by their respective creators to get gud after you understand the basics.

learn by doing, reading will get you nowhere

>Learning C or C++ from a book is fucking retarded OP
Someone went all the way to type that and push the button "Post".
That person was doubtlessly overweight and with american citizenship.

>learn by doing, reading will get you nowhere
Definitly the american powerhour.

Practical C++

what does this mean?

[shitposting loudly]

We are talking C++, the most complex and extensive language out there.

My advice: don't buy Starsoup. Its fucking 1400p and you will give up in chapter 1. Don't buy any book over 500p.

My advice:
>C++ in 24 Hours, Sams Teach Yourself (6th Edition) 6th Edition
Easy to read, short snippets, good overall. Still its not going to be 24h.

Also learncpp.com

What's the best one for C? I borrowed Mastering Algorithms With C from the local library. Is it good enough?

There's no "C and C++". There's C and there's C++.

Don't think you have to learn C before you learn C++. You seriously don't. Doing things the C way in C++ is usually harmful. If you want to learn C++, start with C++. You'll learn C later.

Also
Is absolutely right. I can vouch for this.

Read "The C programming language", then "A Tour of C++"
