What VPN does Sup Forums use?

What VPN providers can be trusted?
What VPN providers aren't pure shit?

Does it matter?. As long as they hide your ip from the web, why bother caring?.

>Inb4 they'll give you up if fbi finds out you tried hacking the pwntagon.

Does anyone seriously expect a vpn to go to jail for them?.

PIA is cheap and allegedly doesn't keep logs. From what I understand it hasn't had a single issue so far.

As someone who tried out two dozen of them it actually does matter.

Some of them are more stable, some have high speeds, some have a killswitch that ACTUALLY works (this isnt very common, by the way), some have a proper tool to set up shit, some have port forwarding no matter what youre doing, many have a shit ton of fake IP addresses and a server network that is quantity over quality, only a few actually have a true no log policy and a server network so support it.

It might not look like it at first, but there actually are a lot of really big differences between providers. Like, VyprVPN will hand your traffic to law enforcement agencies if they ask and forward DMCA snd, NordVPN has absolutely horrendous speeds in most countries, ExpressVPN only logs a few things but you dont really know how much it actually is since they are very hush-hush about it (they have the best refund policy Ive seen, though and refund you almost instantly) and so on.

Rent a VPS and run your own VPN server.

with this kind of a VPN it isn't hard to de-anonymize you. if only one computer is connected to a vps and that vps is talking to a server it's pretty obvious who is accessing that server.

Mullvad.

The VPS provider keeps logs

NordVPN. Just werks.

That's what I've been using for the past few years, no problems for me.

I use Windscribe because it offers you 10 free GBs to sent if you input your e-mail on your account.

I got recommended that funnily enough, no problems with it?

Also using pia. Fbi case proved them to not be a honeypot. Speeds are quite good as well

Is it just better to use DDL like mega instead? I once a long while back had to deal with the embarrassment of my isp shutting me off due to a torrent. Haven't done it since :( This is what they do they make you feel so awful about it

Yea speeds are solid depending on time of day and the servers you're connecting to.

I usually manage 200-500mbps depending on the time of day.

Yeah mine has always keept up with the speed of the connection i am using. Sup Forums pass and pia is comfy. I like how i can keep chaning networks but keep the same ip so i dont get the retarded 30 minute ip change cooldown.

My hardware is keeping me from breaking 500mbps since I'm handling encryption client-side with no offload from a router or pfsense box.

With an enterprise class router I could probably get 700mbps+

PureVPN, I use it when I'm travelling or when my school blocks some sites, who knows how secure it is but I have a lifetime membership.

I went with iVPN. So far I've had no issues.

I tried the trail and a horrible download speeds(10Mbps max)

I use PIA but am considering switching to Mullvad since it seems to be more private and secure.

>not the first post from this IP
Jesus Christ, so the accusations thats you shilling niggers flood these threads is actually true, huh?

What are you talking about faggot? If you are not retarded I want whoever is browsing Sup Forums on the office network to square up.

>suddenly changed IP
Mhhh yes, very interesting.

On LTE. Check this out false flaggot.

*head tilt* what's going on?

Probably takes like 3seconds to edit out that Y.

It's not from the same IP faggot, this is literally the only post I have made.

Set the server to connect to another VPN used by many people.

>this is literally the only post I have made
Well then I guess 4chanX's IP detection is bugged for your post specifically, right? Very likely. Guess its more likely that someone posting with the same IP already posted before you.

...

Footlocker?

Just stay away from ones located in the "five eyes" countries (like USA, Canada..)
And also stay the hell away from PureVPN

Make sure your connection is stable and that you have some kind of network lock or kill switch.
