Is an AMD card worth getting for Freesync?

Is an AMD card worth getting for Freesync?

>AMD

>Is an AMD card worth getting
no

>GSync does essentially the same thing
>AMD cards are still inferior.
Probably not.

RX 480/580 was a good buy, until cryptofags came in.

Except Freesync doesn't cost you a limb.

>fresync is on way more fucking monitors
>said monitors don't cost you an arm and a leg
Freesync is better

True, but the graphics cards are overpriced for what they are.

Freesync can be put on ant monitor Google it

You decide if you want to get ripped off buying an AMD card or a GSYNC monitor.

nvidia, theoretically, can support VESA adaptive sync (which is what freesync essentially is) with a driver update but they won't since they're just a bunch of greedy jews

Perhaps the same could be said of all GPUs.

How very nihilist.

freesync is good when your card cant cope with 4k at 60 fps ... so most cards thrn.

Fuck off with your homo anime bullshit

Anything below 60hz is entering ghosting territory. There's a reason why most sync-capable monitors have a refresh rate above 60hz

Yes, but wait until Crypto fags go away from gpu's

How long do you figure is that?

Yes
get a RX580 and a 144hz 1080p panel

Prices are finally returning to normal, There is an XFX RX 580 4gb on Newegg for $230 (after $20 rebate)

I have 2 RX 480's that I use for mining and gaming. They are great cards OP. Well worth $200-$250 but don't pay more than that.

A couple of months more

>Is an AMD card worth getting

Naw

AMD continues to fail in making a high end GPU.
So buying a free sync monitor isn't really worth it.
The monitor is cheaper, but all their GPUs are still stupidly over priced.
I own a gsync monitor and I can say it's a marketing gimmick.

as opposed to homo video games?

I've had a sapphire 390X and that 24" Nixeus Vue monitor that does 1-144 hz with Freesync and honestly it's fucking dope. Gsync has forced Vsync which AMD lets you control. If you play games it's probably one of the better new features out there.

>1-144 hz
Free sync doesn't have that range.
It's limited to 48-75fps
It's the biggest reason Gsync works better. A hardware solution is always better than a software one.

>It's limited to 48-75fps
Wrong
Entirely based on the monitor
Some suck, some are great

>anime

>goy-sync
pay 100$ extra for the monitor

>freetard-sync
pay 100$ extra for the gpu

you just cant win

>Cant even fit in in Sup Forums.
There is no place for you in this world.

Some games have issues with flickering on lower framerates, but most of the time it works and improves my gaming experience

They already do via their mobile GPUs. They already have "G-Sync 2.0" in place. They are just waiting until G-Sync 1.0 becomes untenable via heavy competition from AMD in mid-range and high-end GPU market.
