I've been using Linux for over a week now and I was wondering what terminal you guys use. I'm currently using Termite.

Doesn't matter, really.
They're all practically the same.

I like konsole a lot. I heard people dont like that one tho...

the default one

It's like asking "what Asian do you use?". It doesn't matter because they're all the same. Just use whatever you have as default.

I can't really understand why would this matter...
As pointed here they are all basically the same thing

Gnome terminal
It's the best

>terminator
>easy splitting of windows
>tabs suck

Terminator if you need window splitting
urxvt if you are autistic
otherwise anything that was installed by default.

Tilix is probably the best and terminal out there

st + tmux

st
9term
fuck everything else.

iterm2, because I'm straight

>iterm2
>straight
something isn't adding up here.

I wish I could be bothered configuring urxvt

gnome-terminal. But when I yank and put shit into the terminal it sometimes blanks the screen and turns my computer off. FOSS bugs are the weirdest.

cmd

Mostly CRT without any screen curving, because I find it extremly comfy. If I have to do actual work stuff I just use the default gnome.

It's a bit weird and archaic but not that hard on most distros desu

Or you could do it like me and use an actual crt, always does the trick

Doesn't matter as long as it is VT100 compatible.

I use guake because its what I'm used to

Well, not the most practical on a laptop.

urxvt on X11, alacritty on Wayland.

I like tilix
It's somewhat like terminator but more beautiful

tmux unless all you need is one window open

st is comfy

Just use whatever your distro comes with you turboautist

>implying

This and Gnome Term.
