Linux Image Viewer

Which is the best image viewer for linux?
I really like Honeyview 3 on windows
Using xubuntu, the default imageviewer would be pretty good if it was not for the fact that it automatically scales down images bigger than the window resolution, and according to google there is no way to make it not do that by default
