>fresh install
>download good ol firefox
>run it
>not even asking me where to install it
Alrighty so where do I go now
Fresh install
/our/ browser = ungoogled-chromium
anything else (even iridium) = shit
go back there, idiot
Bin that shit and get waterfox
...
What?
So the executable is the program?
okay I'll clarify, ran the installer and it just straight up starts installing without any kind of prompt. This in windows of course
go away
Huh that's weird
Eww noobonto
ayyyy lmao
If you're on Windows, I think you select "custom" during the install process and choose where it installs. I used to stick a \ between Mozilla and Firefox. Same for thunderbird. Same for Piriform applications like Ccleaner / Recuva / Speccy, et cetera.
>Install Gentoo
>emerge layman
>Add pg_overlay
>set USE=inox for www-client/chromium
>emerge www-client/chromium::pg_overlay
It's one of recent changes
there was none of that. You double click the installer and you get a window with a text saying 'Installing' + progress bar ala Windows 10. Nothing else.
This is normies' fault
What kind of nerd cares where the app is installed so long as it works?
kys nerds, you're so fucking awful
What's so nerdy about wanting to be able to specify the installation directory?
>he's completely clueless
>app
