Ooooh, I thought that was the XPS 15 at a glance. Looks like a comfy alternative.

Why don't trackpads have tactile buttons anymore? They're fucking dogshit for click&drag/panning etc.

Getac X500

Currently using S400

I would inject heroin into my anus and OD for this laptop.

Haha, I use these at work. They are the biggest waste of money ever. Reasonable specs but they are constantly having hardware issues, especially with the USB ports. We had one fry it's motherboard after plugging in a powered USB hub. How is that even possible, it's 2017? Only good for bludgeoning people with and little more.

Didn't know about that.

Used only Toughbook until recently, got really good deal on S400 so that's what I'm currently using. Don't have any complains (yet).

But yeah, in my experience all those expensive rugged laptops have above average hardware failure rate from just sitting on desk compared to mass produced consumer models.

One of these. Literally perfect.
>filename
Ignore it's. It's the rz6.

I have super soft spot for Panasonic.

However drivers on Toughbook, jesus... good fucking luck.

In a few years maybe it'll stop being 2k on ebay, until then I have to live.

If you're only after looks Toughbook CF-AX2 looks almost the same but is $200-300 used.

No black tho, just shitty macbook silver.

Out of the way, plebs.

Don't forget me.

hnggghhh

The only thing from razer that I've ever liked

>bottom mounted front camera

Better to show average gaymen laptop user's triple chins

What if I would never spend more than 600 on a laptop?

I've got this, its pretty nifty.

The IBM ThinkPad 770Z retailed for $7,500 to $9,500 depending on options

But that price would get you a blazing fast 366mhz Pentium II, 128MB of PC66 SDRAM, a 13GB hard drive, DVD-ROM and a 13.7 inch 1280x1024 display

Sabrepro 15
Can't get Linux to work on it
Fans are so noisy using without headphones is out of the question

...

An MBP with the ports (doesn't exist anymore).

So some thinkpad I guess? Maybe the Yoga, I think it's pretty decent with the bending and all.

Gigabyte Aero 14

for what reason does one need a toughbook, tho? Are you living in a silo?

Too bad they're not available outside of Japan

also this

That's not Toughbook.

Have it. Very nice, but I lost the nib for the pen. The pen feels great to use, it's beautiful to write with. Track pad is very enjoyable. I like the keys (inb4 chicklet shit, I also have a mech) but I think the 13 inch would be better because the 15 is a bit too big to use for reading

Fite me

numpads are sexy

Not when they're chiclets

I don't really care if it's island style if the distance is good, which it is on thinkpads. wish it was 7 row though

Damn was going to post that one.

No, numpads are dumb.

Who still does massive data entry in 2017?
Centralized keyboard is a much nicer thing to have.

17" is also too big IMO.
I would rather have the P51.

?

Since people are posting expensive laptops anyway, anyone care to make a recommendation on a laptop to use with unreal engine 4?

this looks good
but it has retard logo

i prefer the 14" model
lx6

>Powerful enough to run 3D modeling and rendering programs smoothly
>Great pen and digitizer built in (which I need for ID sketching)
>Runs windows (which I need for Solidworks. Most of the other programs I need are cross platform, but they all run on windows)
>2:3 aspect ratio
>great screen in general
>15 inch version available
>supposedly great battery life which I don't really care about that much
>best looking premium laptop on the market imo

Costs $3,300 for the maxed out 15" version but that's fine since an equally specced laptop with surface level build quality and a Cintiq with a comparable screen resolution would cost around the same price (while being not nearly as convenient).
Also I've had a couple of laptops over the years and have never needed to open one or replace a battery so the fact that this thing is totally glued up doesn't bother me at all.

Things I don't like about it:
>no numpad when they probably could have fit one in there
>no black version
>you have to take the screen off and flip it around to transition to tablet mode, meaning you have to shut down any program that happens to be using the GPU in the base if you want to transition

can't wait to get this beautiful piece of art in few months

:^)

If these laptops were released in the US would the ThinkPad meme die overnight?

most of you fags will shit on this, but you would buy one if you had the money

>overpriced throwback
yeah nah
the thinkpad brand died and only dumb newfags still care for it
the whole point is buying cheap, serviceable laptops with linux support, not 2 thousand dollars mememachines so you can install windows 10 and photoshop and talk about how important you are at whatever you claim your job is

Did Asus meme too hard this time?

when the fuck will these be available

Eyeing the new Spectre, it will have coffee lake and 4k in something thinner/lighter than MacBook
