Geforce 1070Ti $449,00

Geforce 1070Ti $449,00
Geforce 1080 $549,00
Geforce 1060 $299,00

Did Nvidia just increase by $50,00 the price of the 1080 and 1060?

Memory becomes really expensive, fuck nvidia.

Of course not.

Dropped it by $50. MSRP on the 1080 was $599.

Wew that's a good price. GTX 1070 FE is $449.

It's been $550 since the 1080ti released

Yes, they raised the 1060 MSRP and lowered 1080.

And 1070 AIB cards are $379. I wonder if that means 1070 Ti AIB cards will be $379. That's a good price for near 1080 level performance considering that card launched at $699.

I wonder what this means for Volta.
I'm tempted to fall for a 1080Ti, but if a new arch comes out in 5 months it's probably not a great idea.

If you didn't buy a GTX 1080 Ti back in March, I would not buy it now

Especially when Nvidia already announced the Volta GPU architecture

...

Idk if Volta will be as big a jump as Pascal was from maxwell. Might be worth going for the 1080ti. As long as Vega is still meh nvidia will be milking pascal, they honestly have no reason to release Volta.

I have a 1080 currently, but can sell it for a decent chunk and buy a 1080Ti without VAT, so it's a ~150€ investment, not that much.

780ti = 980 = 1060
980ti = 1070
1080 = 1170
1080ti = 1180

That's how it will be this time around imo, iirc 780ti just got gimped over time but on release it was pretty much the same as a 980. Then pascal game and 980ti got absolutely blown away by the 1080. This time around I don't expect the performance to increase as much. So if you want next gen flagship performance, the 1080ti would be a good upgrade right now. Though who knows how expensive the Volta flagship will beat and if you want to just WAIT™

I don't need to upgrade right now, but when Volta comes out the 1080 is going to drop in price pretty massively IMO.
May not be a bad idea to go 1080Ti now and later 1180Ti.

why buy a 1080 now?

I just want to do 4k 60fps without having to pay for TI, maybe 2070 will have that performance.

The 1180Ti price will drop harder than the 1080.

>Gaming Perfected
>1070 Ti
>Not even their best card
>lower price than 1080/Ti
>Gaming Perfected

k

But Pascal was just overclock Maxwell.

My 1070 went up over $100 since I bought mine in late 2016.

My 1070 spits money out of the cd rom drive

>We have perfected gaming (?) to such extent that we can insert a card into just the right price gap with surgical precision!
Uhhh... yeah. Have to admit that is indeed absolutely retarded.

why not if AMD is shit for poorfags?

And Volta is bigger Pascal.

Good I want a nice big die to cool easily.
