How is the quality on chink sneakers? I know clothing typically falls ouside of /csg/ but anyone have experience buying sneakers off aliexpress?

Do you guys have any mousepad recommendations? It doesn't have to be from those that make custom ones if it sacrifices quality. I also play some FPS games, and could really use something better than the artcow one I've been using since the first $1 mousepad promotion.

I guess you'll have to wait until 11-13-17

Look for actual pics on the feedback and don't trust the chinks description.

I have it running fine on a 1st gen raspberry pi using dnscrypt for queries together with ssh, openvpn, fail2ban and probably some other shit I've forgotten about

Sneakers are mostly ok. Some have terrible insoles.

help

>How far are you? Can you boot it and log in via SSH?
I already got the zero running as it should, with streaming and deluge set up.

If you didn't know, raspberry pi and orange pi are not all that compatible in most cases, that's why I asked how user got it working. Maybe it does just work out of the box though, which I guess I'll have to look into.

It's out of use now though, because I need to make a few holes in the walls for cat5.

I flashed dl.armbian.com/orangepizero/Debian_jessie_default.7z
Set it up.
curl -sSL install.pi-hole.net | bash
Done.

So, assuming I want an all-singing all-dancing Pi for stuff like pi-hole/file server/streaming music/video to my TV, what's the best one to get? Orange Pi Plus, like this one? aliexpress.com/store/product/Orange-Pi-Plus-2-H3-Quad-Core-1-6GHZ-2GB-RAM-4K-Open-source-development-board/1553371_32516755321.html

Well then, honestly didn't expect something this simple for a change.
Thanks user

Adding to that, is the actual Raspberry Pi worth considering? The screen on this looks neat.

aliexpress.com/item/Raspberry-Pi-3-Model-B-Board-3-5-LCD-Touch-Screen-Display-with-Stylus-Acrylic-Case/32762719751.html

Local man accidentally hits enter

>raspberry pi and orange pi are not all that compatible in most cases

They both run Linux on the same architecture so there are no "compatibility" issues you fuckwit, the issue with the Orange Pi and other knockoffs is the total lack of vendor support for drivers etc. Fortunately pihole is prtetty much just a frontend for some pretty basic packages and doesn't need working graphics support unlike the Kodi install that you tried and failed to put on your OPi

Check that the "SATA" port isn't just a SATA to USB bridge or you'll be limited to USB2.0 transfer speeds. Depending on how heavy your file transfer requirements are you may be ok with this though.

If you want something that's as close to justwerx as you'll get on Linux then yes.

1. Rubber quality will be bad
2. Trust rubber size, not quality
3. Textile attachment might be crap
4. Paint quality might be questionable. Might not come with factory weather proven coating(usually worn in a few months on new shoes)

I got this one and it works fairly well. aliexpress.com/item/3-5-LCD-HDMI-USB-Touch-Screen-1920x1080-LCD-Display-Audio-with-clear-case-for-Raspberry/32786785378.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1RTl6K

USB Power Adapter

not that easy to find a good one that will not go up in flames, please recommend me some quality ones with at least 2 usb ports.

also when did aliexpress stop selling stun guns? need those aswell if anybody knows link me up bro.

bought some replicas back in the day, hard to find now but were worth the price and also very durable for the price.

>Resolution adjustable, support 480 * 320 ---- 1920 * 1080

What determines that?

thepihut.com/collections/raspberry-pi-kits-and-bundles/products/raspberry-pi-3-media-centre-kit

I'm being heavily tempted by this now. That plus a screen would cover everything I need.

>They both run Linux on the same architecture so there are no "compatibility" issues you fuckwit, the issue with the Orange Pi and other knockoffs is the total lack of vendor support for drivers etc.
I meant that most things don't work out of the box, for me atleast. But I was misinformed nonetheless.

>unlike the Kodi install that you tried and failed to put on your OPi
Well actually...
Though I'm stuck at building unofficial addons for it, which I've probably been doing wrong seeing as I had trouble installing even pi-hole.

Just got a Redmi Note 4, what rom should i put on it? Will I lose any functionality by doing this?

It's fine as it is.

I want to get rid of all the bloatware though.

Finally finished one of my backlog models, Panzer 4 ausf.a. overall model quality is pretty good, but sub-par for a piececool product. Instructions were impressively shitty at times, and consequently some mistakes were made during the build. Tracks have a good half centimeter of extra length on them, the top sections of track are both left side, barrel construction is droopy, turret instructions were absolutely terrible, got more use out of actual reference photos (turret still doesn't fit, it's way too small, but actually rotates inside the turret ring so that's cool I guess). The detail is there, it's a good looking model, but if you really want to build it you're going to want reference photos of both the real thing and a completed version of the model. The new nagato model better not be of the same quality.

6.5/10, could have been better, expected better from piececool

Last time I checked the disposable chinkphone of the year was the Redmi Note 4/the Zucc. What's the newest sub $200 meme?

Redmi Note 4

But that's what I'm posting from.

what's a good price for a 32gb micro sd card? any brands i should avoid?

check the next year

Any brands to watch specifically?

meant to say 64gb

Can't you use glue or solder to hold parts that don't fit perfect, e.g. the turret?

You probably could if you really wanted to. The turret is too small for where it's supposed to go in, so soldering wouldn't do much besides fix the turrets position. I usually only use glue if I break a part, which is likely to happen with the shitty 3dmm models I'm working on now. The metal in most of these if forgiving enough that you've usually got a second chance to bend a part correctly, and piececool is pretty good about including spares of particularly finicky parts.

Sharks go on sale from time to time. Otherwise name brand SDs are usually cheaper locally, unless they're fakes.

The big Xiaomi mousepad is very very good. I got it a few months ago and I'm absolutely loving it.

Ok, with 11/11 upon us, can I get hit with that neat pricetracker website, I absolutely forgot it from last year.

do you not have a micro center nearby? They sell microSDs at the registers that are literally chink price. They also frequently send out mailers with a coupon for 5 free pieces of flash memory up to 32gb in size.

Microcenter is pretty much a local chink-price retailer, they're amazing. I snagged a 1tb drive for $20 not long ago. Never seen that coupon in my mailers though.

not in britainstan i'm afraid. we have very crappy options for local computing supplies and stuff.

You'll get a full refund from Ali if you don't receive it within 60 days

alixblog.com/en/claims-disputes-returns/

Thanks, so looks like if I don't confirm my orden and no tracking service marks the delivery delivered, I'll get auto-refund? Has anyone experienced this?

Anyone has cheap source of e-ink displays?
I plan connectig them to Raspberry/Orange Pi
youtube.com/watch?v=MsbiO8EAsGw

Bumping this. Is it just weird advertising and you can plug a Pi in and run it at max resolution?

I need to buy cute/lewd/women stuff for a girl this christmas.
She really wants those high quality cat ears, hands, collar set. But its like $90 and i like to buy people cheap things and a lot of them. And the set she wants is not even worth $90.

She likes BDSM and cute clothing. Thats all i know what to buy for a woman... :/ otherwise im stumped

Just buy the cat ears you cheap fuck

reeeeee fug off she will use them once. I could get the same quality in china for like $10

All she wants are those ones that look real and are REALLY fluffy

Nah you need to open dispute on the 60th day

who even draws this shit

What mechanical keyboard should i get for 50€?
No amazon

I have been thinking about these:
>JamesDonkey 619
>Ajazz AK33 RGB
>3LUE k751
JamesDonkey has Gateron switches Ajazz has Zorros, K751 has Outemu

Then buy a bunch and stop asking to be spoonfed indirectly you lazy cunt

256MB Orange Pi dude, or anyone who knows their shit, it says the onboard Ethernet is 100/10. Does that mean if I use it for pi-hole it'll lock me to 10 upload? Because I've got twice that. And if that's the case, is there some kind of Ethernet dongle for Pi's to get to about 20 up?

Only DNS requests go through pi-hole. So it shouldn't affect your upload.

Fuck off you seppo cunt. I'm asking cause i cant find a bunch of stuff to buy

Thanks user. So, I could buy a Pi, run pi-hole through it and have that running as a background application while I do other stuff with it? As in, you don't have to dedicate the Pi purely to DNS duty? I've never used one before, sorry.

Blow me felch gargler, maybe if you weren't so incompetent you wouldn't need sex toys to get your lady friend off

don't be a dag I just want chinese foofoo ticklers m9

>Please spoonfeed me links, there's no other way I could acquire them
Then fucking buy them like the rest of us you lazy nigger

Is there a consensus on what the best cheap airpod alternative is?

I have the attached QCY BT earphones and they sound pretty good. Anyone tried these?

Haven't tried it but serving DNS isn't very demanding so I'd assume so.

My pediatrician growing up was an Asian dude who used to scrape my ears out with these little metal instruments. Looking back on it, it was pretty creepy how much he seemed to enjoy it.

Got my soldering-iron and some soldering wire (with flux). Worked fine, first time soldering so it didn't turn out pretty, but it worked.

:^)

Thanks. reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/comments/6aki9y/best_way_to_combine_retropi_kodi_and_pihole_for/ seems like good advice.

BTW 10/100 in this case means it supports 100mbps max but is backwards compatible with (ancient) 10mbps gear.

Ethernet is symmetrical, so that goes for both upload and download.

Oh, as in 10/100/1000 gigabit? I read it as 100 down 10 up, thanks.

Do you have any links to it?

Are there any trifold wallets made of actual leather? My mom needs a new wallet because her old one is starting to fall apart completely. Unfortunately the trifold version of the Xiaomi wallet doesn't seem to be made anymore.

Got my free kogan sim cards today

How long does it take to get a refund? It's been a month "processing"

What for

This post looks nice with the Halloween aesthetic, fuck you still.

if you're lucky, within 1 week
if you're unlucky, months

For free 4G data that is faster than my home internet connection

Its like cats when they lick their owner every once in a while, they do it because they think it's normal.

What's a good phone can i use as an mp3 player? Something with at least 2 gb RAM and SD slot for 128 gb. It would be nice if it ran at least Android 6.0 but i'm not too picky

Redmi Note 4

My KZ zs6's just arrived but i can't get the cord into the left the earpiece 1 of the holes looks slightly smaller than the other. The right piece took a lot of force to get in but this one ridiculous, i'm going so hard and i feel like if i go any harder the tiny pins will snap.
t. chinked

Looking at this battery pack, but the Mah amount seems too good to be true, any advice?

m.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Ultrathin-50000mAh-2-USB-External-Battery-Power-Bank-Pack-Charger-Phone/272369673074?epid=1883869843&hash=item3f6a7f6372:g:HYgAAOSw63FZ8wPJ&_trkparms=pageci%3A36c33500-bdf1-11e7-a242-74dbd1809b69%7Cparentrq%3A709e301d15f0aa6789cce1f8fffc66b1%7Ciid%3A2

Also, has anyone had any experience with solar battery packs?

Nvm ripped the skin on my fingers getting it in. Sounds fucking sick. Will write review next week.

just get a xiaomi one

5v * 50,000mAh = 250Wh (watt hours)
/ (good 18650 cell @ 3400mAh * 3.7v)
~= 20 18650 cells.
Yeah...they might be exaggerating a bit.

>free 4G data

go on

if it doesn't have to be a phone there's an entire section on mp3 players on the spreadsheet. Otherwise see phone section on the spreadsheet.

Well, my daddy taught me a way not to rip the skin by using someone else's mouth, instead of your own hands.

Like this one?

Any place where i can find something like pic related?
It's an organizer, i plan to use it for electronics (Arduino, sensors, Raspberry, wires, etc)

Fucking underrated

I'm not going to get cadmium poisoning if I buy cheap chink jewelry, am i?

Any good Chinese wireless mice with a good sensor? Mostly using it for Quake. I was looking at the James Donkey 102 but that's really low tier and has angle snapping issues, still apparently really good for $6.

What's a select coupon and can I combine it?
How does one get massive discount on aliexpress?

Had my Xiaomi Router 3G for a few days now so I guess I'll review it here.

The 3G is almost identical to the very well-memed Xiaomi Router 3 other than some small upgrades like improved LAN and better heatsinks inside.

There's currently NO English rom for the 3G and it's full of suspicious chinky apps by default so I quickly flashed Padavan firmware onto it (it's a fork of ASUS router firmware with additional features). Now the router UI is perfect and I don't have to worry as much about chinky spying! It also has a lot of nice features like FTP file sharing and Transmission mobile.

Performance-wise, the signal is a lot more stable and consistent than the default Virgin Hub 3. I find the 5G signal penetrates the thick stone walls in the house better, too. Speeds are good, I'm finally getting the promised 100mb down from my provider in most rooms of the house rather than needing to sit close to the Hub like I used to.

I did find one problem. When you plug in an external hard drive or thumb drive in USB 3.0 mode it seems to hurt the signal and slow down the router somewhat. I don't plan to use that feature much but it's worth bearing in mind that there is SOME performance cost to using the router for file sharing or as a file server.

If you're willing to spend some time flashing Padavan onto it, I can't recommend this router enough. It looks good in my opinion, has solid hardware, and pumps a hard af signal out of those four antenna. If you're willing to experiment you can make the 5g signal even better with an EEPROM hack inside the Padavan script. I'm happy enough with stock.

look up plastic storage cabnit on ebay

Thanks man

You're not only a worthless degenerate who can't please him woman without the need of cheap tat, but you don't know how to back up your arguments and end them with what essentially amounts to, "LALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

McFucking kill yourself nigger.
