They'll have Android 8 for it on Feb 1 2018 (4 months) which is typical, and they announced they would support it for 2 full years from release which is fucking fine.

THX was bought really cheap because it wasn't a very well performing company during the purchase. It's mostly so Razer can stick the THX name on everything and get people to buy their products because of the brand recognition.

the base rom is nearly pure aosp. the bootloader is unlockable. there WILL be linage os.

it comes with android 7.1 which is perfect because it works with xposed out of the box.

anyone complaining about no oreo is retarded. the s8 came out in april and samsung is just "promising" to release that shit near April. it will further delayed by carriers because how fragmented devices now. not the best example because all samsung devices are shit when it comes to updates but unfortunately that's usually how it is with android phones. and thats why you buy devices with unlockable bootloaders so the community can take over if anything undesirable happens.
