just look for an .ISO with the same MD5 hash as those digitalriver´s .ISOs (those were legit)
disable windows update (or at least that problematic antipiracy update)
then use dazloader to patch windows 7
(compare the MD5 HASH of the original dazloader) and call it a day

You're right. I tested it in a VM and Gentoo just wrapped and compressed the normal ISO. Threw me off a little bit when digging through the ISO.

These are free keys for testing from services like MSDN.
