Hello. I'm a shut in who doesn't like other people, but I've decided to travel a week to Turkey. My plan is to mainly get some sun (i'm nordic) and maybe visit a museum or shit like that.
But I have no idea what to do doing evening, does any of you have a suggestion? I'm taking my laptop with me, so I have something to do around night
you'll get bombed by isis and get killed for your laptop
Benjamin Garcia
Are u all alone? Do you want to go to a beach or a city?
Luke Rodriguez
Visit antalya muğla or izmir Lots of chicks, beaches, sun, and history
Dylan Garcia
I suggest for serious advice
Oliver Baker
the rarest flag I've ever seen
Jonathan Reed
I was thinking the beach, and I've found museums I would like to visit.
My main problem is, I have nothing to do from 17:00 to 21:00
Evan Davis
why Turkey? why not somewhere 1st world like Italy
Honestly normies just hit the bar or go to a restauraunt
I guess you could roam the streets
Cameron Miller
That was my first thought as well, but it's literally cheaper to travel to turkey than anywhere i Europe. Pretty sure they are just lowering their prices because of the coup and terror.
Nolan Gonzalez
proxy turkish self-hater
John Murphy
Come to Tunisia. Best beach Mena. Nice beer too.
Nathan Brown
up to you, I'm not stopping you or saying it will be bad but your experience will be easier and safer in a 1st world country
Liam Thomas
>My main problem is, I have nothing to do from 17:00 to 21:00
visit the cities, eat some delicious iskender and meet people. beer is also pretty cheap in Turkey
Ryder Hall
I suggest southern shores near a city like antalya. Lots of old greco-roman thing next to beaches. Distance may vary. Look it up for kemer or belek
Julian Williams
Turkey is pretty safe lad, especially in major cities like Istanbul or Izmir. Don't fool yourself
Isaiah Perry
>iskender try lahmajun or pide if you can too
Ryder Harris
and baklava
Cameron Moore
Haven't seen any travel agencies who offers travels to Tunesia, and I've been looking at serveral the past 24 hours. Sorry.
Well yea, sure. But a ticket to Bulgaria would cost me twice as much as a ticket + hotel in Turkey. I don't know why it's like that.
Guess Im gonna be that lone stranger in a bar drinking.
Really? I was gonna not gonna pay the extra for a bus to the hotel, and just pay a taxi.
Benjamin Hernandez
Buy a Lonely Planet guide or whatever.
>inb4 ">buying guides in 2016" Still better than asking Sup Forums.

honestly you'd be surprised, I was in Didim last year and suprisingly met more British tourists than Turks. Brits tend to be very open. Few years back I was staying at a 3 star hotel in Izmir and it was FULL with Norwegian people. Like they had those small Norwegian flags on the restaurants tables and shit.
might be a coincidence tho, but tourists are actually very open and you're more likely to meet some than not.
Aiden Allen
they're gonna try to rip you off
Austin Murphy
This, who doesn't love Turkish grills btw?
Joshua Martin
don't get caught in the coup
Ryder Thomas
everywhere in the world has been ruined by travelers now
Asher Lee
>turkey and russia are now besties >isis is pissed >kill turkey tourist I'm legitimate worried
Do you know if I should get some Liras, or just use my credit card?
Alexander Campbell
Get liras, always ALWAYS bargain especially cab drivers have dirty tricks to rob tourists messing with taximeter n such, if you get into any problem don't call the cops, call gendarmerie ask for tourism division they are mostly conscripts graduated from foreign language schools.
Carter Cook
>A gendarmerie or gendarmery (/dʒɛnˈdɑːrməri/ or /ʒɑːnˈdɑːrməri/) is, in principle, a military[1] force charged with police duties among civilian populations. what the fug. Why do you have a police then? But thanks for tip.
Samuel Rodriguez
police is for major cities gendarmie usually does the job outside
Turkey has a lot of problems with terrorists in southeast Turkey (PKK) therefore does the police need to be heavily armed at all times. that's where it comes from I think
>also don't drink the tap water
this, but that might depend on the area. we had one of those machines you put a large bottle on (50 litres) and you could choose between hot and cold water
Justin King
Please don't come here before august 14th People say bad stuff may happen
Jason Morales
I-I'll probably come the 13th.
Do you think ISIS will respond to you and Russia now are besties?
Luis Price
what makes august 14 special?
Aiden Cook

Except for business travel, and that's why business travel is so awkward and depressing.
You've got to "maximise" your opportunities since you don't have much time, but you're also all alone with your money and unable to really enjoy things... so you usually end up drinking at the bar like a creepy loner. Finally you're hiring an escort, not because you're horny, but because isolation is insufferable.
Jason Powell
>but because isolation is insufferable. You're a big guy
Ayden Campbell
It's not like NEETing all alone at home.
Business travel alone is soul-crushing, even if you usually are the most introverted and lonely person.
Carson Carter
are you a businessman?
Owen Wood
No, but I sometimes do have to travel for my family's companies.
I wouldn't stand the "business life" on a daily basis, even if it sounds attractive at first.
Thomas Hughes
what the fuck is your flag how do almost a million people live there and I haven't heard of it?
Isaac Hill
because American education All Europeans know about Comoros
Austin Morris
almost* I didn't know it was a thing either kek
Thomas Gomez
I had several friends from Comoros, they were chill as fuck
Oliver James
Skip Antalya and go to Bodrum because I'm going to be there in 15th for like 2 weeks. In Centre of Bodrum you're kind of far away from nice beaches ( about half an hour with bus ) but really close to other nice places. There's a famous pizza shop there for your dinner and you're close to Tekilacılar Street ( a street designated to bars , full of qts at nights )
Joseph Reyes
Sorry m8, but it's socially accepted to lay alone on the beach.
Kevin Torres
You gonna travel alone? I feel like doing that too but im too scared
Kevin Nguyen
I've heard of Mauritius, but not Comoros
Elijah Hall
>not knowing about Comoros it's basically Iceland of Africa
