Samsung GDDR6 is ready

>The CES takes place next year in January. NVIDIA already announced a keynote for January 7th
>Jensen will unveil Volta-based GeForce models. The GDDR6 is likely to make an appearance with GeForce 2000 series

Great, another 8 month wait, and we'll probably only get the 2080 which will be around the performance of a 1080ti anyway.

Titan a month or few later, 2080ti in January again.

>tfw gtx2600 will probably offer sub 150W 1080 performance

2060 = 1080 performance at 90W
2070 = 1080 ti performance at 140W
2080 = 1080ti + 20% at 160W
2080 ti = 2080ti + 50% at 200W

I don't think they're gonna make the Ti a 200W product when the last 3 or whatever have all been 250W.

>mfw 2060 will be faster than Vega and use 3 times less power

>recursion in performance
Nobody can wield this power, RIP NVidia.

Why 2080 instead of 1180?

Because JHH touches you at night

AMD fans in meltdown.

And then you woke up.
Volta will be around 30% more efficient, so 1080ti performance for 180W

>2060 will skip the 1070 equivalent and jump to 1080

Never.

>nvidia
It will most likely be a 64 bit wide memory bus

Fuck nvidia and everything they stand for

>2080Ti = 2080Ti + 50%
UNLIMITED POWA

>tfw bought 1070 1.7 years ago for cheap €€ when waitfags were telling me to wait. Is there something more pathetic than waitfags?

The most pathetic thing is your weakass GPU performance people had in 2015

>Volta
Prepare your ass for Pascal refresh, maybe this time they'll give us full pascal in the GTX 2080Ti

Pascal is 2 years old so no.

>12 full-HD DVDs (5GB equivalent) per second.
>full-HD DVDs

>Pascal is 2 years old
And still better than the competition.
A GTX 2080Ti with the GP100 and GDRR6 is coming.

cool

i love my 1080 but ill gladly trade up

isn't that slower than HBM? Also when will ddr5 be ready? I want to skip ddr4 entirely.

>Also when will ddr5 be ready? I want to skip ddr4 entirely.
It will probably come out on Q3 2018 but don't expect support in consumer grade hardware until Q3 2021.

>2060 = 1080 performance at 90W
Bullshit. 1070 at best, like has been the case for the past several gens.
